Bought this to use with a standard fermentation bucket rather than FastFerment vessel. Its overly large for the purpose - could probably fit a pressure barrel in there too. But the main point is that the idea works really well. I don't believe there are any other similar solutions on the market either. By daily swapping out of plastic bottles of frozen water I have been able to keep the temperature of my last 2 home brew beer batches to an optimum level despite an ambient temperature in the room of around 26 degrees.

I use a cooling coil and pump with my 5 gallon Spike Brewing conical, and I was having trouble keeping it at temperature with a bucket of glycol in my freezer. I wanted to avoid spending nearly a grand on a glycol chiller, and I didn't want to spend a few hundred on a AC glycol chiller build either. With my Spike Conical in this insulator, all the temperature control issues went away. I can crash down to 35 degrees no problem, and I was surprised how well it fit.

This is a pretty good unit. It is fairly well insulated and will block out the light from the fastfermenter. I like that the company thought through all the ways to mount the unit and made the necessary holes for it in the bag. Well thought out for sure! The only things I don't like are the bulky insulation around the zipper (for hestloss I know) but makes it annoying to zip open and closed. I also saw some.ofnthe stitching being stressed when zipping it closed and hope it won't be a future point of weakness. Otherwise it seems like a quality bag.

Excellent, easy to use and fits the fastferment perfectly, add a frozen bottle when hot or a small hot water bottle when cold.
