Merrell Mix Master Jam Z-Rap Running Shoe (Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid)

These shoes have held up well. The velcro is easy to close for even an impatient four-year-old boy and it stays on. The "laces" do seem to keep the shoe on tight enough (we've had some that I could never seem to get tight enough that he wouldn't run out of his shoe sometimes). It also allows the tongue to come up far enough that you don't have to jam his foot in (another common problem with velcro shoes).In addition, my four year old has problems with calf cramps, so I thought I would try a more flexible shoe with less support than he had been wearing to see if it would help him strengthen his foot and legs. He actually has had fewer complaints about his legs since he started wearing these. If our child has similar issues, maybe this type of shoe would help.

I got a pair of these Merrells for both my son and daughter and they both found them to be very comfortable. My daughter runs a lot and wore these for all of her races up to 10km on both the road and trails. I thought they wore out a bit faster than some other's they have tried. That being said, even though she has newer name brand shoes she still opts to run in our torn and tattered Merrells.

The fit was great and my 7 year old says they are very comfortable. After only a month though, they are falling apart! Normally we buy shoes for him from Target but wanted to get a little better quality this time. Sadly, while considerably more expensive and despite Merrell being a brand we normally enjoy, the quality in these is very poor. I gave them 3 stars since my 7 year old loved the fit and feel but otherwise, I would not recommend them at all.

I have always loved Merrell shoes & between my kids, wife & I we must have over 15 pair of different type & style of merrell shoes. I sadly give these a generous rating of 3 stars due to the fact that plastic loop that the secure strap goes through breaks within a week of use. Also on the Mix Master H2O Sandal we purchased also. Please address this Issue Merrell so as not to jeopardize the quality your company is know for.

I have found this to be a good shoe for an older toddler. I really enjoyed the styling. It is obviously a girls shoe, but it isn't dominated by pink or purple. For me, that earns it 5-stars by itself. Far too much girls stuff is overdone, this is not. It also happens to be a good shoe that has stood up well to regular use. My only gripe is that the velco connection is rather small, so only a minimal amount of adjustment can be made.

I was sooooo disappointed with these sneakers. My son is four, and granted I did order one size up so he had room to grow in them (he had tried on another pair of Merrell's at a local store in the same size and they fit fine), but he can't even wear these, when he runs his feet come out. The z-rap part on the top isn't adjustable, unlike on his keens where you can pull the excess strapping and make them tighter, these you can only make looser. My son is very disappointed as well, his favorite color is red, so he couldn't wait to wear these. Normally I love Merrell's, but these were a major let down.

I expected more from Merrell. They had to be thrown away before being outgrown because were showing considerable wear (a couple of holes in the front red area) in just a couple of months. My son found very comfortable though. Too bad the quality was poor.

I did not realize that they would be a size bigger than thier current size. I ordered two sz 13'S, different manufacturer, and there was a big difference, so when My son fits them next year, I will give a better review.

Colori molto vivaci....devono ovviamente piacere. la scarpa sembra di ottima qualità ed è comodissima. materiali traspiranti e la chiusura, nonostante non siano presenti i lacci, è comunque efficace.

Ich habe den Schuh eine Numemr größer bestellt, da ich die Erfahrung gemacht habe, das Turnschuhe immer recht klein ausfallen. So passen sie perfekt. Schöne weiche Sohle. Mein Sohn kann prima damit laufen. Klare Kaufempfehlung.
