Kustom Canz Candy Emerald - 13.5oz Aerosol Can

I painted my BMX frame with this candy emerald green and i have nothing but good words about it. It was the color they said it was. My only bit of criticism is that until i got the can i was not sure on what primer base coat to use. Luckily i went with white but it made the green very lite, so keep in mind that depending on the color you want the base primer is a big factor with this type of paint. The can itself was fine, classic design, simple cap. once heated the paint flowed from the can flawlessly, needs some good shaking as would any aerosol can of paint.

Looks and works great! Especially for an aerosol. You have to use the coarse metallic silver base and 2k clear coat if you want a true candy. Candy is only a translucent color. It works by light reflecting off the silver base coat under it. I used their 2k clear coat too. I will be getting more for future projects.

This is the silver metallic, emerald candy and the 2k clear. Honestly this picture does not do this paint any justice. It looks so much better in person. Nice mirror finish without any buffing.

The candy color is great especially as stated with a base coat of metallic silver, but it comes out a lot lighter than the example pictured. As you can see my motorcycle has a darker candy color which is called “emerald candy green” but this color comes out lighter, I used 3-5 coats with a clear coat.

One of the brightest Candies I've sprayed. No striping or dark spots. Sprays evenly and takes 4-5 coats over a bridge Silver base to achieve the bright Emerald Green. Ive ordered several different Colors from Kustom Canz and have yet to be disappointed.
