A delightful surprise
Having read other reviews citing a lack of web GUI for the management of these switches I went ahead and bought them anyway as they were so cheap and I needed them only for basic VLAN configuration; even if the idea of installing management software is repulsive. However, upon receiving the two I ordered, I found them to not only have a web GUI, but one that, unlike most web GUI managed switches, is fast, responsive, sensible and very easy to use. I personally have an aversion for TP-Link products as they tend to be of very poor quality, but these switches have impressed me enormously and I expect they will become my go to when looking for simple VLAN aware switches as they are very well priced, extremely pleasant to configure and well built. Having used a number of small cheap switches from competing manufacturers, such as HP, Netgear, D-Link, Cisco SMB and Mikrotik, I can sincerely say that this is the first time in many years I have been so pleasantly surprised with a cheap managed switch.

Perfect solution to split ethernet
Does exactly what it claims to do! Splits gigabit ethernet into two, with no detectable loss of signal or performance. Small and compact, comes with a small USB-A to USB-C cable (USB-A is the power outlet end) to power it up. I use it to split a gigabit connection between my TV and PS5 and both run perfectly. No issues with overheating or cutting out. Simply plug and play and away you go!

A nice little Switch
The product came well wrapped, easy instructions and simple set up. It is made of metal, so it should last in most areas and feels solid. Connections are solid as well as the indicator lights. its a very quiet unit and should power whatever you need i currently have 2 PoE cameras and a PoE doorbell connected. I have a lot of tp gear and it seems to hold up the test of time so I imagine this will be no different

Great little piece of kit.
Great little piece of kit, did exactly what I wanted out of the box. With my PC, and printer, being at the opposite end of my room to the router, I ran an ethernet cable (Cat 6) to the PC. Instead of running two so I could wire the printer in as well, I bought this to split it. It does need to be powered to work so, instead of being able to power it via a USB on the PC, I've had to power it seperately so I can still print from other devices over the network when the PC is off. The ethernet cable that is in the box is 1.5mtrs long and does feel a little cheap. For those that need to know the information on that cable, it is UTP CAT5e 26AWG 60C 30V TIA/EIA 568B.2. Don't understand why they would send a Cat5e in this day and age, so I bought 2 Rhino cables seperately as they are the bees knees. Overall very pleased, can't comment on longevity as I've only just set it up. Fingers crossed though.

Managed switch at this price!
I was a little sceptical at first when I ordered this product, thinking to myself surely a fully managed switch cannot be this cheap? I was wrong, the switch is amazing, out of the box it works flawlessly with no need to actually change any of the configuration but it has a full range of settings that can be configured on the swicth right the way to having seperate VLANs for your different devices. The switch supports DHCP for the standard home network, however you can also configure it for a specific IP address is you are more technically minded and have static addressing configured on your network. All in all this is a great switch for a fantastic price and I will definitely be buying more of them for my house so that I can finally move away from wireless.

This splitter/switch works well
I bought this splitter/switch for my partner when we had fibre broadband installed. This left us with one less LAN output on the router, so he had to make do with one output for the two computers he formerly had wired to the router. He tells me that everything works just as well with this splitter/switch, so five stars.
