Five Stars - Our Secret Base is Now IMPENETRABLE!
My kids and I have been working on the ultimate treehouse command center for months. It's got the rope ladder, the periscope, even a secret trapdoor. But our biggest challenge was making it truly disappear into the backyard wilderness, especially from the prying eyes of the neighborhood "agents" (aka, the kid next door). That's where the Rust-Oleum 279175-6PK Camouflage 2X Ultra Cover Spray Paint, Deep Forest Green came to the rescue! I ordered this pack of 6 from Amazon, and the moment it arrived, the mission began. The Deep Forest Green color is absolutely perfect – it's not too bright, not too dark, just that ideal shade that blends right in with the leaves and shadows. The "2X Ultra Cover" made quick work of the plywood walls and even the plastic roof. We didn't need endless coats; just a few passes, and everything was transformed. The kids loved helping, and the paint dried fast enough that they weren't waiting around forever. Now, our treehouse is practically invisible! You have to really look to spot it amongst the branches. The matte finish doesn't reflect sunlight, which is key for stealth operations. It's also super durable; it's already survived a few rainstorms and a direct hit from a rogue frisbee without a scratch. This isn't just for military gear; it's perfect for any backyard adventurer or "Diyer" looking to create a truly hidden sanctuary. If you want your project to vanish into the landscape, grab this 12 Ounce (Pack of 6). Our command center is now officially off the grid!

Versatile in its uses.
Once every June, the local sod farm has a fireworks show, art expo and square dance. It’s a very popular event in our town that draws in the masses from four counties. As much fun as it is, parking is almost impossible. The sod farm’s lot only accommodates 20 cars or so. People park along the highway, in people’s yards and in the local synagogue parking lot. Some people sleep in their cars as they know trying to leave timely is lunacy. One place nobody can park is on the sod. Trying to park on that green gold will have your car handed back to you in a cube; until now. This awesome paint gets the job done when it comes to camouflage! I sprayed my brother’s van, Gert, with this durable paint, except for the windows of course. It gave the van that earthy green look and rough texture that made it look super earthy. As the masses fought and clawed for a place to park their cars, my family rolled into the middle of the sod field, put the van in park and enjoyed the events of the day. Everybody wondered how we arrived at the late hour of 8am but somehow found ourselves first in line for the tilt-a-whirl, with front row seats for both the 10 am and noon sod lectures. We owned the day and felt like kings. Then the great paint was our undoing but also saved the day! A rogue attendee attempted to steal the featured African Sod square. As he made a break for it across the south field, he ran smack into my brother’s van. It had blended so well with the surrounding field, the crook didn’t see it. The paint didn’t even scuff as it showed its durability after the man ran into Gert. Security was quite confused as they ran across the field. Then the head guard noticed the van! He ordered it cubed at once, despite its role in preventing the African Sod being passed on to the black market! Well, the paint came through again. We jumped in, cranked up Gert and took off. As we escaped the field, security lost track of us as we blended in with the field.

Color is pretty close to true
Used this to spray outdoors through boards onto to reinforcement boards beneath. Works great.

Very close to army green
The thing about army surplus gear is that it tends to have faded a bit. This paint matches the color when the gear is brand new, so when first applying it, the color will be slightly off until the paint spends a few days in the sun and experiences some wear and tear. This is great for restoring old camping and hunting gear or for personalizing gear with that classic olive drab aesthetic. Pair this with some flat white primer and some brown and black matte spray paint to create a custom cold war era camo pattern.

Good Coverage, Color & Flat Texture
Painted some galvanized landscape parts with fairly minimal preparation, so far this performing well. Had pretty good coverage from each can: it was able to cover 3 - 4X8 corrugated panels on both sides, and parts of the end caps, too. Had to go back with a second can for a second coat, but it only used about half of that can. It’s been a week – let’s see how well it lasts in the Georgia sun!
