What do helicoils do? Save your bacon. I had 2 striped motor mount boss's on my motor due to some negligence at a transmission shop. This kit was absolutely perfect once I removed the broken bolt that was the wrong thread pitch! I stacked 2 helicoils per hole and it's been several months of driving with an occasionally over enthusiastic transmission. I'm very happy. I also have a wide selection of bacon savers for future saving of my bacon or close friends'.
