What is the diameter of the R8 adapter that goes into the face mill? Looking to see if it can fit a face mill I already have.

Sorry I don't have it as the one I was sent was missing all of its carbide inserts.

what is the arbor thread size (7/8 20) or what I need to change the arbor from R8

The r8 arbor has an internal thread. Looks like about a 3/8" or 1/4". The cutter just has a 1/2" hole in it. But there is also a set of "tangs" that lock the arbor from spinning. You can just see them in the picture.

Does anybody know of any quality inserts for stainless that fit this?

The inserts are pretty standard. Can't help but think you should be able to find just about anything. Try looking at Grizzly Tool
