In my opinion, best on the market. Lasts forever and doesn’t peal off like other brands I’ve tried.

Great for a finish on all my scroll saw projects. Deft is the best brand and easiest to use. Cheaper than buying individually at HD. Lowes doesn't even carry Deft.

Been using Deft for almost 2 decades.. metal and wood.. and its is the best of all we've tried. New brand name, but appears to be the same product. Hate the new white plastic spray nozzle, but still get good results.

I’ve used Deft spray finishes for years, but the new/renamed product is not the same. I recently bought 2 cases (12 cans), and while the product is OK, the spray nozzles don’t work at all. Thankfully, I replaced the defective nozzle with an old one, and was able to get a decent quality spray.This is probably the last time I’ll buy a Deft product, and that’s a shame.

It's sad that PPG will be discontinuing this because this is great stuff. My father used Deft for years (decades) and now I have been using it on refinishing a table and building a new desk and it is great. It goes on smooth and is easy to sand down the rough spots before putting another coat on (i.e. very forgiving for the novice). I have this both in the quart can and these spray cans. I will be trying to stock up before it disappears completely.

Seller delivered promptly. I love this product but am not a fan of the new spray nozzle. Not the seller's issue.

When I could get past the spraying problems, the finish worked well. The problem begin with the nozzle - I think. The button is hard to press. It's very large and if you press off center, it jams and can't be depressed. Once you figure out how to depress the button and actually spray the product, there is product dripping from the can, slobbering all over the place. 1/2" splashes on the part do not enhance the appearance. No amount of repositioning helped this. So, I tried the next can. It did not slobber but was still difficult to work.After that can, 2 of the 4 remaining cans dripped product on the part. I ended up throwing away 3 of the 6 pack of cans I bought. No can of finish is worth messing up your work. Unless I hear that the problems are fixed, I won't be buying any more of this.

This spray-on finish is super easy to use and yields great results! It dries very fast so within a couple minutes, you can put on more coats and get your project completely finished. After I complete spraying this finish, I crumple up a ball of brown Kraft paper or a paper grocery bag and buff the finish to a very smooth shine. I’ve used it to finish chessboards and it works great. Also, the process is so simple that it’s very difficult to mess up.
