Does this meter have decent volume on continuity testing?

I have worked with a few different meters, and this one is about the same as the others when it comes to volume. I use it for continuity all the time and some of the places I'm in are not the quietest. I would say average on sound....You can also turn the sound off if you want. I cannot see a way to turn the volume up. Its either on or off.

Its made in usa or china?

Made in China. If it were made in the USA it would cost 2-3 times as much.

Looks like it’s auto ranging but specs do not confirm. Is this an auto ranging meter?

Just look at the rotary function selector switch. If there are just functions and no ranges then you can pretty much assume that it’s an autoranging meter

Does this test for insulation resistance (high ohms), which dial symbol and also continuity (low ohms)?

The Fluke 106 doesn't have an insulation test function.
