Microtouch MAX Lighted Personal Trimmer

Best nose hair trimmer I have used - due to a brilliant design. Other much more expensive trimmers don't work because you have to push hair into a hollow space against a spinning metal rod. Light is to weak to show much in a dark nose. I was very pleased it captured and cut every hair. Models and women will love how thoroughly it completely cuts every hair. Note = Clean after each use or dried nose fluid will jam it - if it start and stop it is due to failure to clean - simple run warm water over the blade area only and use a brush then dry.

I've only used this a few times, but it definitely helps you reach the tough spots like the back of the head. It's excellent for trimming using just the clippers with no attachments, but I had some trouble using the attachments. First, they aren't labeled, so it's tough to compare them to regular clipper attachments (like no. 3 or no. 4 etc.). Second, my using them to cut my hair means I basically can use only one hand if I'm using bathroom sink mirrors since I have to lean backwards for a good view and I need my other hand to support myself against the counter. So when clipping my hair it's hard to get it to make good contact with the trimmer under the attachment. The hair tends to float on top of the attachment and not go through the slots and against the cutting portion of the tool. Using the attachments resulted in my hair being very short where the trimmer touches the head and to cut the hair longer where it met the attachment. That tends to make the hair very short, maybe shorter than you wanted, near the hair line and places nearer the hair line. I'm still learning how this thing works, so I will probably get better results as I figure it out. It's very easy to trim near the hair line, but it's hard to trim hair to the exact length you want away from the hairline. Overall, it works well - certainly better than using just scissors like I had been doing. But I wish the manual gave suggestions and pictures on how to use it with the attachments. The built in light went out, but it doesn't help you see better anyway, so that wasn't a problem.

Last year, I bought a ear and nose trimmer with a famous name, the one that was recommended by Amazon as a best value. It was well made, shiny, had a rechargable battery, a nice case, all good. It had a circular designed blade. Everything was great except for one thing, it didn't do a very good job. I had to have my trusty scissors handy to clip off what the unit did not. On the other hand, this unit is pretty cheap, uses a regular battery, and doesn't have a nice (or any) case. However, the thing is that it works like a charm. The blades do the job, the eyebrow and mustache combs are wonderful, and it really works. Once in a while it will catch the skin inside your nose if you aren't careful, but no big deal. The light doesn't really do anything because who can see inside of their ear anyway? All in all, I woud take this a hundred times over the fancy elegant one that doesn't work.

This little thing has a winning design that will outperform any other trimmer. The battery life is eternal and the LED light makes a huge difference in executions. Highly recommended

EDIT: after using this for several months I want to report that it has stopped working a few times until I smacked it against the counter. Other times it sounds like it's really struggling just to operate, even when I'm not actually trimming hair with it. This has caused me to lose confidence in the longevity in this product and makes me wish I'd chosen the same cutting head style from a different manufacturer. This one seems underpowered. Original review: There are two basic designs for nose hair trimmers; this type and the more common trimmer with the barrel-shaped head and round hole at the end. That latter type is the one I've been using for the last five years. It was well-reviewed when I bought it on Amazon but I was never satisfied with the way it performed. I would have to push it in and out of my nose repeatedly, sometimes having to stab at hairs individually to get them in the way of the tiny circulating blade. To do a decent job took at least five minutes and inevitably I would later notice a big obvious hair that I'd somehow missed. I kept checking to make sure the battery was charged and the blade was clean because I had a hard time accepting how badly it operated considering how many positive reviews it had when I bought it. But I did finally accept, and then I start researching again on the internet, trying to find a better trimmer. Eventually I noticed trimmers with this differently designed cutting head and I read a bunch of reviews saying it performed much better than the older barrel type. I went ahead and bought this one and HOLY SMOKES, guys. This is a VASTLY SUPERIOR design. What used to take me 5 minutes and still left me with poor results now takes literally 30 seconds and the result is PERFECT. And out of the trimmers with this same head design, this one looked best to me because the cutting head is longer and thinner (easier to stick up your nose!) than some of the similar looking options, and because it has a little light at the end, and because it has a removable battery. Guys, I'm stupidly happy with this purchase, if you couldn't already tell. In fact, I hope my nose hair grows back quickly so I can use this trimmer again and feel so delighted to be rid of that useless piece of junk I've been jabbing up my nose for 5 years.

Best I’ve ever used!!

The product comes with a 2mm and 4mm (flips) height adjuster to use for eyebrows. The blades are super sharp. Great for nose and ears.

This WAS awesome until it quit working in 3 months!!! New battery does not make it work. Only flashes 3 times and shuts off …. Ugh!! Thoroughly cleaned “inside” where battery goes and connection cleared and it started working again …. I used the tip of plastic mechanical pencil. Crazy!!!

Excelente! Corta rente, sem dificuldades. Usava uma Wahl , há uns 10 anos. Essa é bem melhor. Falta ver a durabilidade. Mas os materiais são de boa qualidade.
