I have been using TOB religiously for years, and it has always provided a great shave. It's thick and slick, and the scents are spot on. I then decided to give Truefitt & Hill a try. I had purchased a tub of it in the early aughts, and then I went on a spree of trying every shaving cream out there and forgot about the brand. I was about to purchase another tub of TOB when I saw T&H in the products related to section and decided to get a tub for "Old times sake." I am so glad I did. This morning I had my first shave with it and I was surprised at how well it lathered up, from what seemed like nothing to being able to cover my face twice (up and down strokes). On top of that, it was even slicker than my TOB shaving cream, and that has always been the slickest shave out there for me. So, all that to say, even though it's a bit pricey, it's worth every penny. I'll be ordering this shaving cream, trying different scents as I go, from now on. Well done, T&H. Well done, indeed.

This product delivers on both things that you hope for from a good shaving cream. A nice thick, rich lather, and a very pleasing high quality aroma. It doesn't smell like musky old spice cologne. I'm very sensitive to those kinds of aromas. Instead it has a nice bright lime aroma that is both uplifting and fruity while still having a very masculine depth to it. It's my go-to brand for many years now.

I have tried all types of shaving creams, bars, gels, cheap and expensive and this is by far the best, expensive but 10/10 lather and glycerin based. Also love that its "unscented" but it does have a smell and that smell is just the pure natural ingredients which is just amazing so can be followed with your Cologne of choice without interference. The only thing close to this is the close second Macca root shaving cream from the body shoppe. also be sure to do your basics. only save after a hot steamy shower and then dry face 75% then apply the trufit and hill preshave oil (also a 10/10) then heat your fresh blade to as hot as you can using your sink water, then shave with the grain then either across the grain or against the grain if you can tolerate it. The best shave cream. I have tried several brand and the way this product produces thick long lasting lathers is the best I have had.

I've been using this shaving cream for nearly 20 years--I'm a huge fan. With sensitive skin, I like that It's fragrance free and is a thicker cream compared to some of the lighter, airy commercial shaving products you buy in pharmacies and mass market dept stores. A little amount satisfies a whole shave and if you shave a few times a week, this tub will last well over a year. Hint: Use a plastic collar stay (that go in men's shirt collars) or other item to dip in the cream, so you don't get the oil and dirt from your fingers contaminating the rest of the container. This will help preserve the cream for extended use. One caveat: The cream starts out very silky and creamy, but towards the end of the year, it becomes a bit harder in consistency. Still easily usable for an additional year easily, but takes a tiny bit more effort to rub on the face.

Having used many shaving products over the years, I have come to some conclusions. One, for everyday shaving, I prefer the Braun 360 Complete electric (8000 Series). I also have the Series 7 Pulsonic, but do not like it as much. Now onto the weekend shave. The weekends for most of us are a little different. A little more relaxed in mood, clothing and habits. A time for those perfectly broken in jeans, grilling out and the time to indulge ourselves a bit. One of my favorite weekend rituals is a wet shave with a good razor, a stiff badger brush, and a high quality shaving creme. A year or so ago, I discovered the Truefitt & Hill Ultimate Shaving Creme. Having used the various canned producs, along with several higher quality creams, I found most of them to be drying and irritating. A year now with the T&H, I have determined that it is by far the best of all. It is easy to apply, stays moist and smooth through the whole shave, and has a nice clean fragrance (subtle). It is also a good value, as a small amount can be whipped up into a fine lather. I highly recommend the Truefitt & Hill products. They have been crafting these outstanding shaving potions since 1805....and I think they have got it just right.

As I have written elsewhere within this subject I have tried just about every major brand of soap, cream or stick. For me shaving is very important and I've found most products are so rich that a very little lathers up nicely and the entire product really lasts a long time. For me the most important factors are razor glide and closeness of shave. Also important is how it leaves your skin feeling afterwards("baby-bottoms"). Scent is nice but transitory. Because the products are so rich cost is not really that significant. Now to get to Truefitt & Hill - as of now it has made it into the "final 3" after I have eliminated about 12 - 15 others. The other 2 finalists are The Art Of Shaving (the most expensive) and Kiss My Face (by far the cheapest!) Amazingly KMF is leading now in head to head competition hence the 4 stars for T&H. The Art of Shaving is so expensive that it might have to be eliminated even though it showed well in the few outings I indulged in it. It might be as good as the KMF. I shave each half of my face with one product then switch halves the next day. I probably have enough products to last me the rest of my life. Bottom line - this is a fine product and is better than MOST other products. UPDATE! I neglected to mention Taylor of Old Bond Street. A last minute appeal was filed and it actually went head to head with T&H for 4 consecutive days and I have to admit it won by not a slight margin. Accordingly T&H has been demoted to the 2nd rank and TOOBS has earned its way into the finals with Art of Shaving and Kiss My face. Stay tuned...

Truefitt and Hill - Rasiercremes der Spitzenklasse, Rasierseifen auf Durchschnittsniveau: So ist der von mir aufgrund meiner Rasurerfahrung zu unterstreichende Tenor in unzähligen Rasurforen und so wurde es mir persönlich in der ersten Oktoberwoche im Truefitt and Hill Geschäft in St. James von der netten, älteren Verkäuferin auch gesagt: "Take the cream, our creams are far better than our soaps. " Diese Creme ist jedenfalls super spitze. Schnell abzunehmen, schnell aufzuschäumen, super weicher Schaum, super Duft, super Einweichfähigkeit der Haare und super Pflegeeigenschaft! Der absolute Hammer ist der Duft! Genial einzigartig! Zurückhaltend, jedoch auffällig anders als alle anderen Seifen / Cremes. Minimal holzig, leicht Weihrauch, leicht Leder und leicht gewürzt, etwas orientalisch gemischt mit Sandelholz, schwer zu beschreiben für mich. Bin da kein Experte. Wenns hilft: Afrikaforscher aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, Gerhard Rohlfs hieß der glaub ich. An den Roman von dem hab ich gedacht, als ich zum ersten Mal an der Creme roch! Auf jeden Fall wirklich ein Hammer, da mal ganz was anderes. Ebenso das Aftershave -Balm. Super Balm mit dem oben beschriebenen Duft. Teuer, aber sehr gut, - und was Besonderes. Kaufempfehlung!

Muy suave, con muy poca cantidad se obtiene gran espuma pads afeitado. Muy buen olor.

This is the absolute tops shave cream. Smells lovely and you doing need very much to provided excellent lather easily for more than one wet shave pass. Not cheap but we'll worth it and will last ages.
