This cover should be considered when buying a Tonneau cover for your truck. I wanted a Tonneau cover for my new F-150, having previously purchased a BAKFlip from Bakindustries for my son's F-150. I was again going to purchase a BAKFlip. However, my new F-150 had an automatic tailgate, and I didn't want to mess around raising the cover before closing the tailgate. Following some research, I opted for the Gator EFX Hard Tri-Fold Truck Bed Tonneau Cover, and it's an advantage for me because I could open and close the tailgate without lifting the bed cover. A bonus was that it was more cost-effective than the BAKflip. It took about an hr to fit, taking my time to ensure a good, snug fit. Looks fantastic, and the quality is great. Installation was straightforward, as the included instructions were perfect. The only area where the BAKFlip has this particular model beaten is that you can fold back all 3 panels; with the Gator EFX, the third panel is fixed. I don't intend to use the bed for tall large items, so this wasn't a major problem. The panel is very lightweight, making both opening and closing super easy for my wife, and during those occasions that I may want to transport larger items - removing the cover in its totality will be easy. The only area that I can't give feedback on yet is waterproofing. However, the supplied fixing strip and drain tubes shows consideration from Gator regarding this. Having ensured that daylight can't be seen during installation - I'm highly confident that this won't be an issue. I'll update you as and when. Very happy with my purchase and recommend considering it during your research for a tonneau cover.

Second time purchasing this tonneau cover. I purchased one about 4 yrs ago and it held up great! I recently traded my truck in and got another truck and purchased this cover for it also. It is easy to install, and remove when needed. It is secure when you lock you truck and it is strong and doesn't show dents etc. My favorite thing about this particular cover is it has wire pully loops under each section that you pull down to release and fold back, my husband said he prefers this and not many others have this release system. Great quality and not nearly expensive as some other brands. Totally recommend this cover

Great cover for the price. I didn’t expect this cover to be as good as it has been. I initially bought it to hold me over till i got a different one after a trip i took. This has held up excellent, and I have postponed the purchase of a new one. Easy to install and surprisingly seals really well. Have had it installed for 6 months or so now and regularly go through the car wash with it and its held up way better than the last vinyl cover i had that was double the price. I open the cover daily and latches still secure without issue. Would definitely recommend.

This is a great product! Takes about an hour to install with two people. Looks great on our F150. Works exactly as described, we have no complaints.

Fantastic cover. I was looking for a product with a minimal flat design that did not stick up so that it could not be seen from the sides. I researched and mostly found products in the $1500 range. Until I came across this one for less than half the price, and it is by far the best value for your money. I bought it for my 4x4 2025 Ford F150 Lariat Hybrid with a 5.5ft bed. It fits perfectly, sits flush. And is protecting my truck very well. Looks fantastic. It is easy to open and close securely. Light weight yet very strong and durable.

Purchased in November of 2023 but received a defective product. The defect was a broken snap that holds down the cover when opened so it didn't have a negative impact on the integrity of the cover itself and I kept it because Amazon offered a partial refund. However, 2 years into the ownership of this cover, the latches broke on passenger side and when driving the cover blew off. Now trying to deal with Amazon for a warranty replacement as it states 3 years are offered, I cannot get any assist.

The cover arrived quickly, was not missing any parts and only took 15 minutes to install. I highly recommend a pair of small hand clamps to keep the rails in place during the install. The fitment is excellent and the cover is tight and does not flap at highway speeds. This Gator branded cover is identical to the Truxedo Lo-Pro and is half the price. The box it came in even had shipping labels from the Truxedo warehouse. Highly recommended
