So far, I love this. I had a landscaper friend install it on my garage gutter and I love the soft, but sufficient downward light it provides overnight. Now I know that anyone who unexpectedly shows up after dark at my back door shouldn't trip and I can see if there is any yard activity. I hope it will do wall all year, including winter. I would have given this product 5 stars if I had seen it successfully in action for a whole year and if the installation had been smoother.Attaching the clip to the gutter was no problem, but then there is an infinitesimally small Phillips head screw to attach the actual light to the clip. No one on my block, not even my 92-year old neighbor who has everything from all his years in construction and carpentry work, had a screwdriver small enough to fit it. My friend used some super-powerful, instant-dry, all-weather clear caulk by DAP to "glue" the light to the clip. It has held through a month with over 6 inches of rain and up to 60 mph winds so far. I think the company should re-think that small screw, the product design or include a small screwdriver.

We actually ordered these twice! The first time we bought five to see if we liked them. I just bought 18 more to do our entire fence line! These look fantastic on our fence! I had used solar spotlights on the ground before, but my dogs ate them so this was a great alternative and they actually look nicer. The light is fairly subtle, but it definitely adds a nice accent to our landscaping! I didn't even have to use screws because our fence boards run sideways rather than up and down so I just wedged it between the boards. I'd definitely buy more of these in the future. I don't have a good night picture yet, but I'll try to post one.

I bought these more as an experiment than anything else. I would like to have some way to see when I forget to turn on the porchlight--which is about half the time. It doesn't put off much light, but it's adequate to see to find the keyhole with the key. We've had some really heavy rain storms recently, but this little light just kept right on going with the rain beating down on it. I think that I'm either getting another one or maybe even one that puts out more light,

Simple, bright and easy to install--earlier versions lasted well, only one sputtered out (not this brand). The design is what makes easy and affordable to add to your lighting needs. Don't overthink your requirements, get one and test it--the price is right for doing that. Several ways to mount them.

If you only need a spot of light somewhere (in my case, it's over the door entry), it works perfectly, but as with all solar lights, it must be well-charged by the sun. So, do not expect as bright a light the night of a cloudy day.

These throw a very nice light plus it is pretty bright. I have not installed them on the gutters since I like to move them all over the place. I find that the hooks fit on a bunch of areas by just sliding it on. So right now we just move them at will.

It's just enough light and it works even when the day has been gray and rainy. I like it a lot and will be getting more.

These lights can sit in full sunlight all day and still only give off a weak light. Not for important walk ways like the driveway or front porch, more or less useless.
