It’s good for a restaurant, or someone who cooks a lot! ! It’s huge, almost menacing,, very sturdy and has various useful attachments. Unfortunately, my needs were more of a basic kind.

An utterly misleading picture. I just received my mandolins and there are no safety gloves included. I have barely got the slicer out of its box but already I am extremely disappointed.

I found this unit to be very flimsy and the dial selector is very cheap after spending the money we did I wouldn't recommend this product as we are looking to replace it.

Very good quality and very sharp cut the slicing time in half

Shortly before I finished up using it to slice up some potatoes (which didn't seem to hold a consistent thickness), I was stupid and tried to clear a jam by pushing the potato through the blade with my thumb. I didn't expect the blade to be so sharp... My advice: never use without the gloves that are included. If you don't follow this first piece of advice, keep pressure on the cut and the base of the finger to cut off the blood supply if you can. Avoid ibuprofen for the pain as it thins the blood and can worsen the bleeding.
