Q: does this hair brush have a spongy base that the bristles are attached to or it is a hard base?

I had to look at mine because it’s kind of an “in between” answer. The surface that the bristles come out of is the same smooth texture as the rest of the brush, but there is a tiny give to it. Not like a brush with a foam or fabric base at all. But more give than a wooden base would have, for example.

Q: Is this brush good for fine hair?

Honestly I think it’s a good brush for ALL hair- it’s seriously magic. Doesn’t hurt or pull, I just wish I knew about this when I was a kid! I have 3 of these. I love them. (I have thin, curly hair which is just SO much fun). lol
