I bought a gallon of cleaner degreaser, metal prep, and the tank sealer. All worked out perfectly but I did add some naphtha to help break down the varnish. I suggest that if the tank has a lot of varnish. And when you use the sealer. Use an inspection camera and add as needed to cover the tank. Conserving the product you use. It’s not cheap. But worth the money. Especially if it’s a tank you can’t find anywhere.

This stuff works great. Better to get more than you need. This product makes a difficult job just a little easier. If you are going to reline put lots of time aside. I wished I had used our drier or cement mixer to help. Next time I will. Mix it real thorough.

This is my second order and use of this product. I used it to coat the fuel tank on my excavator. I had a question for the manufacturer and called the company that makes it and I was actually able to speak to a real person not a computer. They were really helpful answering my questions. This is a 1 year review of this product and im still very pleased and the inside of my 69 gallon diesel tank is still perfect. I cannot vouch for gasoline tanks as I have not used it for gasoline holding cells but works great in diesel tanks

Used to coat a 100gal diesel fuel tank. After an expensive injector pump failure, my heavy equipment mechanic informed me that if there was rust in the fuel tank I could be repairing the injector pump again in 6 months. He said the number one preventable cause of injector pump failure is rust in the fuel tank. He recommended the POR-15 tank sealer to prevent these recurring repairs. It took the entire gallon for the 100gal tank. If you are doing a large tank, you will need a way to rotate the tank to get the coating on all sides. The coating starts setting up as soon as it is exposed to the air, so you have a limited time to apply it. Plan ahead. Read and follow the instructions.
