Like many of you, I did some Amazon and Google research before purchasing. I've never had 100% Aloe Juice before, but wanted a natural way to achieve the same results as Pepto Abysmal. You see, I still have my young-man ego. I can eat anything, whenever I want. But time after time, my body keeps telling me, "Hey, buddy. Your testosterone has leveled off. You sit on the couch with your dog most of the time. Why are you eating half-a pizza at 10 p.m.?" Well, I'm trying to make the adjustments. Trying to eat healthier. Trying to eat less. But on those occasions where I give in to my cravings, a shot of 100% Aloe Vera juice does help with stomach acid levels. I'm not going to sugar-coat it: it does taste like Goodyear tire. But keep in mind that in fine wine circles, "rubber hose" is part of the legitimate flavor profile of "earthiness". I worked in a wine shop once and a customer wanted an earthy red wine from Italy. I knew of one that distinctly tasted like rubber bands so I recommended it. She came back and bought more. She loved it! Well, at 3 a.m. when I'm wakened by the taste of stomach acid and bile in my mouth, I don't care if it tastes like a Denny Hamlin spin-out. I'm getting out of bed, walking into the kitchen, and pouring myself a dose of Lily of the Valley Whole Leaf Aloe Vera Juice. Then back to bed, back to sleep, to dream about the days when I was 24 and scarfing nachos and a cheeseburger and fries at Arbuckles, and having a frozen White Russian for dessert. p.s. The way to remember how to spell "dessert" is to think of the two "s's" as standing for "strawberry shortcake."

Very good natural product to assist in alleviating GERD symptoms. I don't recommend shooting it straight because of the taste. I create smoothies with it. Works wonders and tastes better that way.

Taste awful even mixed in juice. But it did the trick and unglogged the stomach.

I am really pleased with this product because I found it does help when I've overdone wheat or had something that doesn't quite agree with me. I'll feel this rising burning going up my esophagus and, if I didn't have this, it could last for a few hours or worse, overnight. I take about 1/4 or 1/2 cup of the aloe juice. At first, I took it AFTER i had symptoms and it takes about 10 minutes to half-an-hour to soothe the burning. It has a subtle taste, like I don't taste anything, until after I finish drinking and then it has a, not sure how to explain, but plant taste at the end. Not unpleasant. I'll take it, because this works! If I feel the symptoms, I immediately drink 1/4 to 1/2 cup and problem solved (1/2 cup if really burning). I do drink before a meal if I'm going to eat something I know will cause issues. I didn't want to take over-the-counter remedies as there's always some issue in the long term with those products. I believe if you have problems with your gut, this product will help you with digestive issues.

This did not in any way soothe my stomach ulcer. The taste was very bitter and caused gas and stomach upset. I’m throwing it straight into the trash. I would like a refund.
