$12 for 1 seems extreme?

Search internet for “pool fence dirt spike” and you will find similar products on the internet for less than $2.50 per spike and the spikes are 24” long (which is 10” longer than this product)

Which metal ones did you replace these with?

We Didn’t. We used the ones in the pictures.

How many sleeves are included in an order?

If you mean these 12 inch stakes that go into soil then the answer is none! To put this fence into soil you couldn’t use the short stakes that are provided….Those are meant for drill bit holes into paver/concrete and come with the kits. We had to order 10 of them seperate. Search on internet. They are too expensive at Amazon. You can find them cheaper elsewhere
