The Hawkins Futura Non-Stick Kadhai is an absolute kitchen essential. It heats up quickly and evenly, and the non-stick coating works beautifully — nothing sticks, even with very little oil. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a reliable, long-lasting non-stick kadhai for everyday Indian cooking.

Works well for all my dee frying purposes. For disclosure, I ordered from amazon warehouse, so cost seems ok for me. But, overvalued for the listed price, I must say.

The pan is designed in the traditional "kadhai" style, with a round bottom. I'm glad Hawkins brand is available to purchase in the USA. It's a major utensil brand India and their quality is top notch. The build quality of this pan is exceptional and the hard anodized non-stick coating, excellent. The lid is very useful for cooking covered. I use this pan for heavy duty Indian cooking several times a week and not a scratch in the last three months of use. For comparison, I had also bought a Tramontina (Made in USA) brand frying pan (flat) which started getting scratches within the first month. A couple of minor issues to be aware of: The round bottom design may cause a balancing problem with flat surface cook tops (it does for me). It can be easily overcome by gripping the handle while stirring. The plastic handle gets warm while cooking in high heat, again easily solved by gripping with a small towel. Despite these issues, I would highly recommend this product to anyone who cooks Indian food, or for heavy duty cooking in general. I will certainly buy again.

It does the job it is meant for unlike all other nonstick pots and pans I have ever purchased. Best! Worth buying!

I really like it but it is very small..

This kadhai what I was looking for it’s very cute and size was looking for long time . Usually wow is really big for our family so this is great for making vegetables.

Made with very high quality made, the one I ordered Q57, seems to be good for serving only 3 people

This has become my favourite cooking pot. Even though it's not heavy, it doesn't matter, as I have a gas cooker. The round base ensures that all the ingredients get cooked evenly and I find I am always rustling up curries now.
