Review Update - May 2021 Buying my second tube. First tube lasted approximately 18 months, with x1 daily application. Continues to be effective for me. I noticed packaging is new. Hopefully formula is the same. Noticed it is also expensive by $1-2 from 2019. Original Review: December 2019 I've had adult-onset cystic acne for 10++ years, often triggered by fluctuating hormones and certain food groups (dairy). For a while, what has been really effective were monthly visits to my asthetician for a deep pore clean (extractions and peel) and daily Maca Root supplements (one specific brand only). While I'm still on that routine, this new discovery has proven to be as effective (if not more) and waaay cheaper. My expectations were pretty low coming in, but after about 3 months of use now, I am definitely blown away by this product. First month of use I did twice/day right away knowing that, yes, it will irritate my skin. It was strong and harsh. It stung and dried my skin. But I know my skin well enough to say that while it is super sensitive, it is also very resilient. It dried my skin, with mild-moderate redness as well. It was itchy on some days and slightly irritated. It was like this for a few weeks. Sometimes I took a day or two of rest from the product or used it once per day. But I used it regularly. Despite all the "side effects" of initial use, my pores were tight, skin was smooth and large cystic acne decreased significantly. After that initial month, as expected, my skin got used to it. Flash forward to now, it's been 3 months and my face does not dry or sting at all (it's still quite cold out here like December). It does not turn red after use, nor do I get that stinging itch after use. My cystic acne is near non-existent. I still get the ocassional hormonal breakouts around my neck and jawline but much reduced in size, redness and amount. You know a product is simple, strong and effective when it does not have any fragrance, the ingredients list is short, the color is paper-white and consistency is thick. That's what this is. Straightforward, no frills, industrial grade acne treatment that works. I've never truly been this happy with my skin. At the same time, I know that at one point it will stop being as effective and my skin will become immune to its effects. That just how my skin is. But until then, I will be enjoying this product and the others from this brand which I intend to try. Best way to work with hormonal cystic acne is, never give up, continue to adapt, and just love what you have.

I have oddly stubborn and sensitive skin. I recently had a terrible reaction to something containing verbena and thought salicylic acid would be a way to help speed up my recovery. Wrong. so very wrong. I now realize I cannot use salicylic. I knew 10% benzoyl was way too harsh for me but it is nearly impossible to find anything less or where you don't have to purchase a monthly subscription. I read every last review on this product and nervously took the plunge because I was unfamiliar with the brand. I am so so so happy I did. Literally overnight my face started to act right. I have to be super careful not to get any product on my neck because it breaks out in a hives like rash. It is not this product, just me...that is how my neck likes to act stupid. My face, although sensitive the random blemishes or clogged pores can be super stubborn. This product has also helped the "mask acne" I have gotten from wearing a mask all the time. The price is insane on this. What a DEAL! The quality if superb. As with all products with b.p, it WILL bleach your towel, clothes or bed linens so proceed with caution when using. This happens with any benzoyl product I have used so I expected it. Honestly, I would gladly sacrifice a sleep t-shirt or blanket for CLEAR SKIN. This worked for me. For the record, I am 48. I have hormonal acne during that time of the month with occasional random ones that pop up out of no where. I do not have bad acne, just blemishes that appear at the worst time and places. My skin DOES still get dry with 2.5% but it doesn't get angry like full 10%. I live in a 4 season climate so lots of fluctuations in temps and sweating. I work out and sweat. I don't use a lot of hair products so no blemish from that....I get a few "underdog" blemishes "cystic acne, that are so painful and I used this 3 times a day and it virtually went away and was pain free, which is great. (This is a real review, not some paid person. Just someone who has ALWAYS wanted beautiful skin and this helped get me a little closer.) Thanks for making a good product at an amazing price. BETTER deal than any big box retailer or product. Happy face, behind my mask, and blemish free!

This benzoyl peroxide is great. Keeps skin clear without overdrying your skin! You don't need 5% or 10%. Much too harsh. And you get this huge tube!

The product itself works very well: easy to apply, vanishes quickly. The problem is it's such a large tube it makes it more difficult to squeeze out a precise amount, and the tube lasts a long time - in my case the last one broke into pieces long before the tube was empty. I'd give it 5* if it was in a smaller tube.

A little background info: I had suffered from adult acne for around ten years. I had cystic acne all over my face, which left many scars. I hated how I looked. My skin is very oily all the time. In the winter, it also gets dry, which makes my face even more oily. I tried other products with salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide, and they either did not work, or were too drying. I was on Accutane for a time, and it worked, but the acne came back after I got off it. I thought I was going to have to have cystic acne for the rest of my life. My regimen: I used Replenix 5% Acne Wash, a hyaluronic serum, a niacinamide serum, and this the Touch cream. I started with Replenix, added the Touch cream a week later, and then the serums a few weeks after that. It's better to test any skincare product for a bit before adding new ones to see what is effective, and to see which products react badly with your own skin. I am also aware of the purging period when using some of these products. Your face may look worse off for a month or two before it gets better. Don't stop early until you know for sure that it works or not. I washed my face twice a day. Adjust based on your personal needs. The results after 3 months: After staying with this regimen, I had barely any new breakouts. I had maybe one or two every two weeks, and they were small, and did not hurt. They didn't leave huge scars, and the scars did not take as long to vanish as before. I didn't notice a strong scent, and I did not have any negative reactions to this cream. The cream went on easy, and absorbed clear and quick. It will stain your clothes or towels if it gets on them, but if you're careful, it shouldn't be an issue. Use an old towel to wash your face. You don't need a lot of cream to cover your whole face, and typically a tube lasted a few months After over two years of using the Touch cream, I may get a small pimple once a month. My face is still oily, which is probably hereditary, but my acne is basically gone! My scars have more or less vanished, and I get complimented on having clear skin more than I can count. I always keep 3-4 tubes at home, because sometimes Amazon and the manufacturer's site is out of stock, sometimes for months at a time. So stock up so that you aren't stressed when it's unavailable to buy. Hopefully, this cream works as good for you as it did for me! Completely life-changing!
