This is a brand I have recommended several times over. I first learned of Pumpkin & Spice products early 2021. I was impressed with the simple ingredients, great textures, incredible smell* (MUST love pumpkin spice aroma), and ultimately-- the effectiveness. The fun look is youthful and seems to appeal to the 20-30's crowd, but I must say my 40 something skin responds. *THIS night serum has no scent. Not like their other products. Btw, their scent is just like using spices. It is not a synthetic fragrance, but it is strong. They seem to play around with their pricing a bit, so if you can find it on sale, go for it. I am a frequent purchaser of their eye cream (tightens up my lax lids instantly). So when it comes to anything this company has to offer, I am always game to try it. This ultra lightweight instant absorb night serum pairs well with their night cream. This has retinol, and can be used nightly. But if you are brand new to retinol a good rule of thumb is to plan to use it a couple nights a week and work your way up. Allow your skin to adjust. Be sure to follow up with a moisturizer, and of course sunscreen during the day. So far so good. So easy to use that I will likely keep using it after I am done with this bottle. We'll see. 5 stars because I think this product and brand is worth checking out. This serum might seem a bit expensive since it is $20 for 1 ounce but a little goes a very long way! Made in the USA! I apply this at night and have had no reaction or irritation. Conveniently packed in a pump-top container, this one-ounce retinol-based night serum works well. A small dab applied to a damp or moistened face is all that is needed. The opaque white serum quickly spreads and absorbs and does not leave an overly oily feeling. After a few minutes, the serum dried and left my face feeling moisturized. I did not feel any sting or burn when using this retinol-based formula. The all-natural, vegan, and cruelty-free formula and its ingredients are listed on the product page and tube. The fragrance is very seasonally tilted toward autumn with a pumpkin and warming spice scent, but it is not strong and does not persist for a long time. It may not be appealing to some especially after the festive season ends. Priced at about $20 at the time of our review, this is a very nice, well priced, retinol-based night serum for those who prefer a festive pumpkin spice scent.

It wasn't greasy or oily or tacky when I put it on, and I didn't feel like I needed to wash my hands after. It has a faint scent to it that seems like it comes from the active ingredients rather than something that was added deliberately. I didn't really care for it, but I also had to have it right under my nose to smell it. I like their lotions a lot better - those smell really nice.

I always get suckered in when pumpkin spice is mentioned because I love the scent so much. I was disappointed to find out that this product had zero scent to it whatsoever. So they get a star marked off for that. But as for the product as a whole, it’s not bad. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks and it seems that my skin has been more supple when I wake up in the morning. So it’s a nice addition to my bedtime facial process. I would recommend it but don’t expect it to have a scent.

I've been using this serum for about 3 weeks and have been consistent to use it each night following the instructions. I haven't really noticed any difference in my skin and much prefer my retinol serum from curology. I'll admit the reason I picked this serum to try is because I am a bit basic and I was intrigued by the idea that my face would smell like pumpkin spice each night but there is hardly and fragrance to this and the slight scent I can detect doesn't smell like any spice at all. No hint of cinnamon or nutmeg or clove. it just smells like the inside of a vitamin jar. I will not be rebuying this.
