Will they sticky bandage material of the base appliance stick to the skin with this powder on it?

Yes. You use ir around the stoma area and then apply the base plate. It’s purpose is to get the skin protected from the acid output that comes out from the stoma.

Can someone please instruct how to use this? Clean area, put this stuff on, then put on adhesive helper, then bag?

Yes clean area, and sprinkle power on then put on water. ☺

i puff it around the stoma. then wet my finger and smear it around. it forms a barrier that protects the skin from any leakage as well as seals the pouch on. i use it every time i change and have had no irritation. this method was suggested by the stoma nurse at the hospital
