Reliable Reeds for Daily Practice
Bought these for my daughter’s school sax and they’ve been great. She was able to get a nice sound right away, and the reeds feel consistent from one to the next. They hold up well with daily practice and don’t crack or wear out too fast. What I like most is that it’s a full box at a good price, so I don’t have to run out to buy a single reed every time she needs one. Perfect for band class, and they’ve given her confidence since she doesn’t have to fight with the instrument to make it sound good. If you’ve got a kid in school band, these are an easy win.

Excellent reed
I try several reeds while testing out different mouthpieces. I found the the Royal brand of reeds gave me very good results with very few not working well out of the box.

Durable and long lasting
Durable and long lasting reeds. My daughter plays the tenor saxophone and has band daily. The breeds are durable and las a while before needing to be replaced.

the BEST.
These are MY reed of choice. Even before the fact that these are the best priced reeds on the market. But, before I came to that conclusion, that these reeds are the best for me. First, I got a good reed file. I think it was $30, I dunno, it was a gift. But to make for an excellent reed, there can be NO air leakage between the reed and the mouthpiece. And even though, these reed say they are, filed. It is not good enough. That work was done on some assembly line somewhere. It is NOT acceptable, to me.

They are easy to play, durable, still on my first one. I tried these because tenor player Greg Ham's Rico Royal Tenor reeds are in the Maas Museum collection.
