Update: I upgraded my rating to 4 stars once I learned from the seller that the skates were packaged and fulfilled by Amazon. Although, I still don’t know why the skates smell strongly of cigarette smoke, I assume that Amazon is also partially to blame.Wherever these skates originated from, came from a place with a “cigarette smoker.” 🚬🤮 This is the second pair of roller skates we’ve ordered from Impala. The first pair that I received were the wrong size and smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. I re-ordered the correct size thinking that the 1st issue was an isolated issue. The 2nd pair also smelled strongly of nasty cigarette 🤢 smoke. I had to air them out, outside. I have respiratory issues at times and the overwhelming scent of cigarette smoke triggered a lot of coughing for me. If it weren’t for that, I would have given these skates a 5-star review. It’s probably best to not smoke around your products.

I love them ! They are very cute and comfortable. Also, easy to use for beginners.

I got these for my girlfriend and she’s pretty much complained about them hurting her feet the whole time to the point where she pretty much gave up on skating. ( she wasn’t very good at it anyway) Do what you will with that information.
