AppliaFit 3-Pack Diverter Spider Gasket Compatible with Pentair 271148 for Select Top Mount and Side Mount Multiport Valves (3-Pack)

The pieces fit nicely into my pool filter. However, there is something that causes these pieces to need to be replaced in what seems to be way too often. However, this brand has been the best ones that I have found so far. It seems to prevent water leakage and allows my filter piece to rotate accordingly. They worked well last year and will probably replace this piece with them again.

The dimension tolerances on this product are off as the diameter was too small and I had to leave the spider gasket in the sun and then stretch the gasket to make it fit into the valve channels properly. I got it to fit, but still not a great fit. Next step is to operate the system. Hopefully, I don’t have leakby .

Others who used this gasket said that removing the original was the hardest part, and they are correct! It was very difficult to remove, but after almost 1/2 hour, I got the old rubber out and the groove clean enough. I lubed up the new one, and it fit perfect. Reassembled the valve and started the pump, no leaks to waste while filtering, which is what was going on before. Good fit, in the Pentair filter valve.

Es la segunda ocasión que pido estas juntas, en la primera ocasión llegaron las 3 piezas dentro de la caja como se aprecia en la fotografía. Pero esta vez llegaron en una bolsa de plástico SIN LA CAJA. Estoy de acuerdo en que puede que no tenga nada que ver el empaque pero deja mucho que desear la presentación del producto,
