worth every penny!
excellent spiralizer, no issues whatsoever with mine, the suction on it holds great on my island glass protector.. So easy to use and pretty quick at spiraling veggies. I am not a big veggie person (i don’t like the prep work), with this thing i am becoming so and i’ve had either zucchinis, carrots (stains) and yellow squash (all with crumbled bacon to make them yummier) every day since i got this early this week. It is so quick to use, like 2 minutes or less, that you don’t need to spiral vegetables ahead of time. easy to clean, i just spray it with hot water and it is clean.. perfect BUT, does have one downfall. on main piece/base where the slicing plates clip into on bottom, that little square opening isn’t sealed around it inside, so when you wash it, water gets into the base and you can’t get it out!! eventually this will cost mold/etc issues.. so best to cover it up somehow when you wash the base so no water & soap goes inside that area.. other than that, this is an awesome slicer, cost more than others i’ve seen but, i am glad i chose it over others, it is a good brand..

Works Great, but NOT for Cauliflower
This works well for the zucchini and yellow squash. It does not work for cauliflower. I used a chopstick as indicated and the cauliflower broke into crumbs and florets after ricing almost half of it. That's probably the reason the video from OXO showing them ricing a cauliflower on YouTube only last about 12 seconds. The cauliflower rice went everywhere. What a mess. It does a very nice job on the zucchini and squash as I mentioned above, so is worth keeping for that. It's easy to use, the suction holds well, easy to clean, and stores compactly. There's not a good way to put a plate or bowl to catch the spiralized food, so I'm thinking of getting a large plastic bin and putting the whole thing in it while spiralizing. Or maybe cutting down a plastic dishpan. UPDATE: Figured out how to get a bowl under it. I put it on one of the counters where the end wasn't butted up against anything. The front of that counter has a drawer. I put the spiralizer with the business end over the front edge of the counter, opened the drawer, and put a big bowl in the drawer under where the spirals come out. Worked perfectly.

PERFECT! Clever, simple, and easy to use.
Love this clever little light weight gadget. Works great, simple parts, and so easy to clean. Cannot say enough good things about this product. Totally impressed how something so simple works so well. Large suction area sticks base tightly to counter top. No problems with machine jumping around at all. Appreciate that it requires no electricity and you can spiral most any length of vegetable. I never buy any blades that are not stainless steel, so these are perfect and very sharp. Do a great job and make clean cuts. They only fit into the machine in one direction, so you do not have to be concerned with which side works. Absolutely LOVE that they come in their own storage box that fits perfectly into the machine for storage. I had not considered before I bought this product that it does indeed take a bit of pressure from your non-dominate hand to help slide the food forward (on the easy slide base) toward the blade. Not much pressure is required and probably fine for most folks, just something to be aware. I would not be able to do this all day. It does require both hands to work the machine. Had no problem with a few Yukon gold potatoes and multiple zucchini. The thinner spaghetti style spirals cook much faster than the next bigger fettuccine size spiral, so set a cooking timer. It takes about 1 minute to spiral a big zucchini. Ideas: I use a broiler pan lined with non stick foil for up to 3 large zucchini's spiraled. The pan fits perfectly at the end of the Spiralizer to catch the swirls. Then I lightly spray the spiraled raw food with 100% organic olive oil from the health food store. (Not Pam, as you do not want a non stick coating...just a bit of 100% olive oil.) You can make your own oil spritzer if you prefer. Add a bit of salt and any seasoning you want and bake. For the fettuccine size, Start with about 375-400 for 30 minutes and check often. Remember Zucchini is healthy to eat raw, so no over cooking needed. Bake just for desired texture. I also use my toaster oven. It's tray easily holds one spiraled Zucchini. I like mine a bit crispy, so just experiment. By the way, after spiraling, you will have cute little cylindrical sticks from each vegetable center left over. I just throw them in the baking pan or eat them while waiting. I have no reason to disengage the machine's handle for clean up, so have not attempted to detach it. The Push handle that sticks out from the side, does fold down, so no other protruding parts. Very solid yet light weight plastic machine so is not heavy or difficult to hold and clean. Stores in small space. Keep it handy and use it all the time. Note: One reviewer mentioned that it is difficult to use if a person is left handed, so may need a right handed assistant.

Solid, simple, and speedy
Since it says Good Grips, you know you're getting a quality product, but if you're anything like me, you're never really sure how many uses you'll find for it. Of course you'll make zoodles, but what else? I was concerned that three blades might not cut it- what if I want to do, well, something else? After looking at a bunch of spiralizers, I found that all of them seem to contain these three blades - little noodles, big noodles, and what I call mandolin mode, but what about the others? I found varying sizes of medium noodles, one that could make fettuccine style noodles, but nothing that really popped out. Nothing that made it worth experimenting with a new brand- especially when I know OXO is synonymous with quality. When my package arrived, I unwrapped my late gift to myself and stared down in shock: "I don't like this already", I said to the dog. How does it move the vegetable side-to-side? I bet it's a pain to keep the slices even. Before I'd so much as inserted a blade I'd adjudicated every nuance. I had a large Russet potato sitting on the counter, so I loaded up the anti-mandolin and gave the crank a twirl. "You could slice a cabbage on this - probably a Napa cabbage too", I noticed with a smile, pleased with myself and how effortless this felt. As my misguided augury melted into a mandolin massacre, I realized the transformation of Mr Spud was complete. It all happened so fast; before I'd had a chance to enjoy the therapeutic motion - the solace that comes with repetition - I was done and there was no putting Humpty back together again.

Extremely happy with purchase, spiralizer has been well-designed! Was pleasantly surprised at just how easy to use this has been, no difficulty in turning carrots into noodles at all. Blades come in a box that can be attached back to the machine so that you don't lose them, entire machine can be tucked away pretty easily.

A pesar de los inconvenientes con eel tapon de succión, el vendedor reemplazó el equipo por uno nuevo. Por eso creo que es un excelente servicio de postventa. Y cambio a 5 estrellas nuevamente.

I've been wanting to get a spiralizer for quite some time now, and finally decided to go for this OXO one based on the positive reviews. I wanted something smaller than the others, that had storage for all of the blades and that looked robust, and this is definitely the one! Really easy to use, nice and compact on my kitchen top so it doesn't take up much room, and it just works like a dream. The suction cup on the bottom ensures that it won't move or 'creep' whilst you're using it and the blades are super sharp - they look like they're going to last a long time. The three blades allow you to spiralize virtually any vegetable or fruit - so far I've tried courgettes, sweet potatoes, carrots, regular white potatoes (for curly fries!), apples and I've used the red blade to thinly slice a block of cheddar cheese for sandwiches. It's so easy to use and clean up takes seconds - I usually just need to do a simple wipe down and rinse the blade, but once a week it will go in the dishwasher (top shelf) just fine. I absolutely love it and I'm so happy that I decided to go with this one!
