3M General Use Duct Tape 2929, Silver, 1.88 in x 50 yd, 5.5 mil, Individually Wrapped Conveniently Packaged

Now THIS is a giant roll of duct tape, not the anemic little rolls that you get in the hardware stores. I use a lot of this tape because the trash collectors who come to my door will not take boxes that aren't broken down and taped flat. Since I purchase nearly everything from Amazon, I have loads of boxes to break down and am constantly running out of duct tape with which to tape them. It's a silly idea, that they won't take boxes any other way, but that's the way it is. This roll will last me a good long time and I don't have to worry about the boxes springing open because the tape isn't strong enough. Today I am giving the tape a workout and it's working just fine. I'm using half the amount of tape that I have to use with other duct tapes to secure the boxes, and that's a money saver right there. It's also great for mending other things for which you normally use duct tape and is good and strong. Way to go, 3M, and thank you Amazon for carrying this great product.

This is my go to duct tape. I use this just for one task and that is to tape a tarp onto my old metal shed. This tape will hold on old rusty oxidized paint until it is so sun baked it blows of like dust. I have used all types of duct tape and if you need something to actually stick and stay there this is the tape you need. This stuff is so sticky it will hurt your wrist taking it off the roll no joke. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants something to not come unstuck..... :)

This duct tape is as expected except for one annoying feature. Most of the time, I pull a stretch of tape to use, then use two hands to rip the strip off of the roll, perpendicular to the "direction" of the tape. I imagine most people do this. For some reason, this duct tape will split in the middle of the perpendicular rip, then start to rip up the direction of the tape. This means that the tape then starts to get stuck on itself and you have to pull another strip.In other words, for some reason, this tape doesn't rip off that easily. It's annoying. I'll probably find a different brand next time.If you use scissors, you won't notice.

Too lazy to go buy some so stuck it in with my order, why not? Free shipping, maybe a little more expensive. I use duct tape for so many things it would make you laugh. My friends borrow it, too, to patch up a broken car window for winter so it's not just me and whoever it was used at least half of my last gray roll, like those the best but have a couple colors. This seems to be of a little higher quality than some past rolls, we'll see, haven't had to use it yet. Some rolls the closer you get the end, stick so hard it's difficult pull out a piece long enough to cut.

I'm a DIY'er and home handyman. I'm also a retired maintenance man who cared for a commercial office building. I have purchased and used countless rolls of 3M brand of duct tape over the years and it always worked to my satisfaction. I can't remember an instance where it failed me. It always tears cleanly and easily across the width of the tape with none of that lengthwise tearing or "bunching of the edge" that one may get from bargain brand or $ store products (couldn't ever figure out who would expect to get a quality tape from a $ store anyway). As a professional I always purchased quality tools and accessories and have never been disappointed with a 3M brand of product.

I needed to seal my new greenhouse a bit tighter. I decided duct tape would d the job, so I purchased 2 rolls.The family said it was too tacky to do that and bought me silicone putty for the job..well Yeah..maybe that might work better.So..Duct Tape...what can I say. The end was easy to find, the product has a zillion uses, You always have to have an extra roll around..Just in case of a Zombie Attack. We humans must have Duct Tape.Get some.

This is my favorite bra. I was fitted by a professional and took home my first two years ago. It holds up to rough treatment and gentle washing, sweat, exercise, hiking and looks great under clothes I buy a new one every year now, but if you alternate bras more frequently it will last longer. This is a piece of infrastructure, not a cheap trainer bra. Do yourself a favor, get fitted and then invest in something you can live with.

I use a lot of duct tape and have purchased many brands and variants over many years. 3M 2929 has no downside at all. Cheaper 3M duct tapes should be avoided, even if free! And... FYI... Gorilla Tape will impress you like crazy... until the next day or two. Then it delaminates and you will see the top layer bubble and lift right off the lower mesh... I purchased 3 rolls initially, tried the other 2 to see if the first was a fluke... nope... all 3 did the same. 3M 2929 and no other... I wouldn't steer you wrong! ...Barry

This item cost more than my previous brand and had less on the roll. It sticks well, however it is also a gooey stick to fingers, etc and difficult to remove ensuing in its sticking and wrapping to itself which makes it unusable. I needed a long strip and ended up by cutting short strips instead to prevent this from happening. Will not buy this brand again.

Nothing special here. Regular old duct tape. More expensive than they should be but, hey, its convenient to buy it online.
