This is a quality set, the only plastic in sight is washers to stop clanking and grip the tightening nuts and the hard rubber grips of the dumb bells. It isn't pro level of weight accuracy as far as I can tell with rudimentary weight readings from scales, but it is close enough for normal peoples use. Olympians will probably ridicule me, but your average gym bro will probably grunt in an approving style! :-) Good solid bar for the bar bell and plenty of room on the ends to add weight. Needs a bit of a wipe down on first use to get rid of metal flakes and what I presume is just manufacturing residue/shipping/very sparse lubricant. Dumb bells are the same, excellent quality, nice over shoots to add weight, but again, needs a wipe down before first use to avoid metal flecks from shipping etc. Tightening nuts are great, flick them and they spin fast up to the weight faces, it's almost therapeutic...I kind of get the fidget spinner craze now! For note, I am an absolute (over weight, unfit) amateur, I ordered this set because I wanted something that would be sturdy and configurable as I work through the combos. I wanted it to be no problems out of the box to remove any legitimate excuses to use. My mindset is to progress with this indefinitely, so will report back any long term issues I find, as I find them. So far so good, which is usually a very good first impression, but in this case, the price tag means it has to be.

I have used these for close to a year now. The weights are good quality and easy to use. The only thing I dislike is the quality of the bar bells, which could have been a bit more sturdier- there are better ones such as the barbell that comes along with Decathlon domyos weight set.

Good starter weights pack. Carry case all in tact and very useful for storage and transportation. Weights look and feel nice to use. Don’t feel cheap. No issues with rust at all. Very happy so far after 1 month of usage

Only received 5kgs 4pcs and 2.5kg pcs Didn’t receive the carry case or the bars not happy, have emailed hopefully will get sorted asap

It was great just what I wanted

Not a professional kit. Okay for the home workout. It did come in two separate deliveries. First parcel was just a box with 6 of the heavier weights. Then about 2 hours later the case and the bars/smaller weights delivery came (both dpd) Finish is not the best. Already had 2 metal splinters from it and there are some nicks in the plates but for what you get and the price, I can't really complain.

I previously read several reviews about broken cases so I couldn’t believe my luck when mine came in pristine condition. Arrived minutes ago. Still expecting the second batch, I think I have approximately 20kg here so far. (Delivered by dpd )Everything looks rust free, sturdy and all round flawless so far. Update: the second batch of approximately 25kg weight arrived within 1 hour. All good…now let’s go put on some meat
