Get these and save on shutter repairs
Great set for occasional repair of my plantation shutters. Easy to use - just look up some YouTube videos to learn how to do it and you're off and running. Pretty much all you need is some good pliers and maybe some glue. The materials are good quality and great value. Way cheaper than paying a repair person to come repair your shutters. They fit my shutters great and do what they are supposed to do.

Great product!
New house had beautiful plantation blinds. Several were broken and I thought I was going to have to disassemble the blinds to fix them. Then I found these spring loaded plastic pins. Blinds look and function like brand new. And it took about 30 seconds to fix each one! Wonderful product!

Worked great after modification
I bought these to repair a shutter louver with a broken pin. The long pin worked fine but the spring-loaded pin wouldn't insert all the way into the hole. On closer inspection, it had small ribs halfway up the part that inserts into the shutter stile. After trimming those off with a knife, it worked fine.

This is a good product
I’m very satisfied with the product they fit perfect. I bought my shutters at Home Depot and they tried to tell me they didn’t have them in stock the parts that I needed and that I had to go on some website, but when I went on the website they made me buy like $50 worth, but I went on Amazon and it took care of me for $12

Great Quick Fix Tabs
These spring loaded tabs are great if you have to replace a louver in your plantation shutters. I watched a quick YouTube video and it was a piece of cake to install them.

So glad I found these
Worked perfectly. I had to make some drilling adjustments to the frame to allow the spring-loaded piece to fi,t but it was a simple, easy process. The blinds now function properly, and you can tell they were repaired.

Beware of Dimensions
If this fits for you, it should be easy to install. I had it installed before I saw the delivery driver leave. But it kept popping out. My challenge is the length of the pin which slides into the blind. These pins are a *little* shorter than advertised and the rounded end is not usable because the blind can’t reliably use that distance. If your blinds have very tight tolerances within their frame, these may work well. But my blinds have about an eighth of an inch of play within the frame. The roughly sixteenth of an inch shorter than advertised plus any play your blinds have within the frame plus the rounded end at the end of the pin are how much you should subtract from the total length of the pin when doing your assessment of whether these will work for you. I cut one of longer, thin shafts off the skinny, rigid pins which come with this order and used it to replace one of the short, rounded pins - keeping the seat and spring. I was kind of proud of myself until I realized I could have just done this fix with the spring and button of a clicky/retractable pen. Put a spring in the frame and the button from the pen or any pin small enough to fit in the frame and blind but large enough to fully sit on the spring. For what they are, they seem perfectly functional, but considering the impact the incorrect dimensions had on my application, they are effectively useless to me. For these reasons, three stars seems fair.

Nothing to dislike if done properly, plenty spares

My little problems were that neither of them was a perfect fit and required some fiddling with our shutters. At the end everything came together, and I did not require any tools or drill out holes. just a touch of blue tac to make it a snug fit.

great solution, making repair very simple

Expensive for some plastic pieces and a few staples. The springloaded pin did fix the louver on my shutter.
