I've been using gouache for about a year now, and I'm still relatively new to it, but this brand has been my favorite so far. It isn't "gouache" in the traditional sense, it's more of a matte acrylic, but that means it won't reactivate when wet so--praise the lord!!--what you put down on paper will stay there. Awesome for someone like me who drools over crisp lines, or if you want a background color to paint over that won't bleed through. The colors are also vibrant and mix beautifully. Regarding the seller, my paint came very quickly and with no hassle. The box was a bit scuffed, like it had been on an art store shelf, but the paint was otherwise fine. I would definitely order from here again.

Meine Tochter und ich haben uns das Set mit den Grundfarben geholt, weil wir unentschlossen waren, ob die größeren Sets ihr Geld wert sind. Im Grunde sind es matte Acrylfarben, die gefühlt besser mit Wasser verdünnt werden können. Die Farbe bleibt auch etwas verdünnt sehr kräftig, da muss man bei vielen "normalen" Acrylfarben etwas vorsichtiger sein. Unverdünnt sind sie gaaaanz leicht transparent. Wenn sie komplett decken sollen braucht man wohl zwei Fabrschichten (wir hatten den Bedarf nicht). Sie trocknen sehr schnell. Ich kann nur raten, sich für sie Arbeit mit den Farben eine Nasspalette zuzulegen. Mixed Media haben wir mit den Farben nicht probiert.
