Best earplugs out there. Blocks 90% of noise and muffles the other 10%. Long lasting. The only way I can sleep with the A/C unit right outside my bedroom window. That is if product is fresh. I have gotten some older ones that don't expand as well. I also no longer buy the 3 pack of this item for that reason. By the time I got to the last package, the earplugs were dry and did not expand properly. I have tried numerous earplugs and theses are definitely the best.

These are one of the best ear plugs I have found that really work! My husband bought a small package at the store by accident since I used another product. I started to use them and was pleasantly surprised how well they block the sounds out. I use them when I go to sleep because I am a light sleeper and my husband snores really LOUD (that's another issues. LOL). Or while I am working on school papers, I wear them to concentrate when my family is around or the TV is on. I am very pleased with this product and am glad my husband "accidently" bought them for me! To work the best for you, it's important that you put the plug into your ear canal. I give the earplug a good roll between my thumb and index finger. Right before I put the earplug in, I lift my ear from the top to open up the ear canal more. I keep rolling the earplug and then immediately put the earplug inside and make sure it's push in really well. Then I keep my index finger of the part of the earplug that is seen and keep it push in while the earplug expands in my ear. That way it doesn't work itself out some while expanding. This has worked the best for me as I have been doing this for years and have it down to a science!! HA ha. Good luck.

For the past two years, I have been buying Hearos Xtreme Protection products over 10 times because I am a very light sleeper and maximal noise reduction is all I care about. Of course, in between this time span, I tried other products as well just to make a better purchasing decision. Got to say, I am most satisfied with Hearos brand. The reasons are :1. it has the highest noise reduction rating 33 compared to its competitors; 2. it's very comfortable to wear all night long, which is a bonus. Last year, I bought 2 boxes to send them back to my folks overseas and my father is so happy with this product. He has had trouble sleeping for a decade and now, his condition has improved a lot, too. Sleeping quality plays an important part in a person's overall health. I this this product can be a great helper.

Very soft and effective in cutting down the sound of snoring!

Hearos are the best earplug available. I started using them every day years ago and they are the only ones I will buy. They did however change their formula or something for some of the ear plugs, which made them uncomfortable to wear. But the kind in the packages I ordered here are exactly the kind I like! They are not too hard, and they are a little slower to expand, giving you time to insert them in your ear.

I used these when I went to sleep while living next to a highway. It worked great and I didn't hear a thing. Now I can't go back, I sleep with these earplugs everyday for years. As long as you clean your ears before bed (shower and wipe inside with paper towel), you can re-use the same pair for at least two weeks easily. They're also indispensable for sleeping while traveling on a plane. I'm actually afraid to wear them while sleeping on a train because I'd probably miss my stop! I have a larger head and these earplugs fit great with no pain. Just remember to roll them up into a tight little cylinders and then insert them, but not so deep that they hurt your eardrums. One word of advice: keep a pair of tweezers handy. If you re-use the same pair for too long or have dirty ears with earwax, your earplugs might be hard to grab and won't be as springy, so they may get stuck in your ears. This is rare and usually you can ease it out by pressing it against the side of your ear with a finger until you can either pull/squeeze it out or grab it.

These ear plugs are the best! Block out all noise, comfortable and allow me to have a good nights sleep!

Unfortunately they don't block all the noise, but that is impossible too. Of all the earplugs I tried out, they are by far the best. They can serve several times before they need replacement. They are soft and therefor perfect for sleeping and other purposes.
