Libbey Just Tasting Round Bowl Set, Ceramic, (13pcs) 12 bowls- one recipe card

I was very happy with my purchase of these bowls. They are small but perfect for pudding, jello, etc. They look very nice on my table. Please note they are ceramic and very fragile. Although packaged well by Amazon, two of the bowls arrived smashed. I feel this was due to the manufacturer's packaging with thin cardboard between the units instead of a more substantial cardboard or bubble wrap. So with only a little aggravation, Amazon helped resolve the problem for me. I am quite happy with these and plan on ordering the small plates next.

love these and the price is good, but one of the bowls was broken in side a perfect box??? Darn!

I bought these bowls for a soup exchange at my house, they were the perfect size, but we have continued to use them for everyday things. These bowls would be ideal for serving little appetizers or desserts, too. My daughter likes them for everyday use for just a taste of ice-cream (we are watching our weight), or I have used them for a small amount of dip for veggies. They hold up great in the top rack of the dishwasher, very sturdy.

They came all broken, packed in a flimsy past board box with the bowls separated by heavy paper. Should you want broken ceramic bowls this is the purchase for you. The charges to ship it back made that option a mute choice. Read reviews, when someone writes "crap all broken", that is what it is, crap all broken.

Just received my bowls and they are the perfect size, however, the bottom of my bowls are "unglazed" rough, porous and unfinished feeling? It's this how they are supposed to be? This seems like it will cause a problem when dishwashing. Did I get a bad batch or are they unglazed on the bottom for a reason? I agree with another reviewer a footed bottom would be ideal for stacking. Not sure if I'm keeping or not the bottom really bugs me

The product overall is OK. The bowls are the right size to serve sauces and or small desserts. The shape is elegant ,and so far they’ve proven sturdy.One thing I find terribly misleading is the fact that the box reads "13 Pieces". In actuality, there are 12 serving bowls and a one page leaflet with two recipes in three languages. That recipe sheet is considered the 13th piece!! I'm surprised they didn't count the cardboard box as the 14th piece. Such chicanery.

Purchased these bowls to serve Butternut Squash soup at our family Thanksgiving feast of 24 people. I wanted something where each person could have a cup (taste) of soup without it being the entire meal. These were perfect! They are definitely smaller than a regular soup cup but were exactly what we needed. They can hold about 8 oz without it spilling over. Everyone enjoyed the soup and still had room for turkey and all the trimmings.

I love these and my only problem is that I have to store them in the original box because they can't be stacked safely. I wish there were a slight foot on the bottom so they could be stacked on a shelf but overall, for the price, they're a great product.
