I think that an increase of $3 a bottle is price gouging! I am not happy with that after using for months at the lower price. True everything has increased in price usually an average of .50 cents for this price range. That's the problem when you find a good product and write positive reviews to share with others. They get greedy and raise the price....HoHum! I do however, like the product and even tried a different product that was stronger but didn't give the relief from pain that this one does. So like everyone else, I am stuck with the price increase because the company or distributor got greedy! I ordered this time but will look for a different distributor or the company website in the future. I was confused because some people had different reactions to taking it initially so I went to different sources to find out why. I found out that this is an anti-oxidant and cleanses toxins from your body. Some people that have built up toxins will experience headaches, stomach upset or other reactions. If that is the situation always take with food and reduce the amount you are taking. Also, taking with Vitamin C will help with how it absorbs into your body. Make sure that if taking medications that you space about 2 hours before or after when taking with Vitamin C or your medications won't be as effective. After taking a comfortable amount for about 2 weeks then slowly increase. Also, it is unusual but some people cannot take sulfur and do have reactions. I did not have any negative side effects with this brand when starting with 2 in the morning and two at dinner. I felt the effects within a couple of days in my knees that were very painful. I started walking again daily (about 15 min) and the results got better and pain free. During the winter when I was less active, they didn't work as well but still better than taking medications. So staying active is key. I did find that my hair grew faster and my skin is more even toned which were another plus. They are good for your digestive system and removing toxins as I mentioned above and also helps with allergies. I am giving small amounts to my dog with peanut butter and her nasal allergies are better. You should also drink plenty of water to aid the release of toxins or you could get headaches. I really like the product just not the price now. With so much competition for this product, I don't think it was a good idea for such a drastic price increase. I have also read where some people have had a good experience for dental issues and would like to know more. Overall it sounds like MSM is a very beneficial product and I plan to keep taking.

First let me state that I HARDLY right reviews but hoping this reaches someone it could help and make a difference. I have very bad inflammation, I can barely walk in the morning, I am stiff and have to “warm up” before it starts getting easier to move around. Since taking this for A WEEK now I have had a noticeably different morning experience. I’m waking up less miserably exhausted and in pain. I was skeptical at first but after I and my fiancé noticed a difference I started to research the science behind this supplement. Its major effect is its anti-inflammatory properties. It reduces the production of prostaglandins and cytokines which is the chemical pathway of inflammation signaling to your body to “flare up” it also helps reduce free radicals and oxidative stress in the body because it enhances the body’s antioxidant systems. Last thing I’ll mention is that it contributes the sulfur needed to maintain/build connective tissue and supporting the immune system. I would def research it if you’re skeptical or interested in the science. I haven’t had any side effects. Ive been taking 1 pill before bed. I did notice some additional bloating when I tried to take 2 but I can’t say for sure if that was the reason. 1 seems to be working good right now so I will probably stick with that until I feel the need to up my dose as I continue monitoring my signs and symptoms. I don’t think the pills are too big for me personally as I am used to fish oil size pills.

Again, one never really knows if these supplements work that well. However, I was told about MSM for joint pain, arthritis pain and swelling, bursitis, tendinitis, cartilage, high cholesterol and a whole host of other things. Do some research before buying and trying. I would try it before my next cholesterol lab work. I haven't felt any different one way or the other, but am interested to see the next lab results.

I have had the worldest worst allergies for the last 6+ years. It started around mid twenties. I had always had mild to semi severe allergies in the spring and summer but they had worsened to 9 months plus a year and included getting sinus infections 3-5 times a year. It was getting so severe I was having to get shots, I had tried acupuncture, holistic methods, everything. If someone told me that waking up at 3 am on a full moon and standing outside naked on one foot would help, trust me, I would try it. Then I read about MSM. I read some people had helped their allergies and I figured, what the heck. I might as well try it. Ordered it last Friday, came on Sunday. (super quick!) In order to truly make sure I gave it a fair shake I decided not to take any allergy meds so I could determine its effectivness. My day two taking this drug (I have been taking 5000 mg per day), I felt a ton better and could breathe. My doctor would tell you my nose is in a constant state of inflammation. Today, when I went to see him, he was surprised, that with Texas allergies in full blown mode, I had no inflammation in my nose. I was floored. I have taken the things for four days. That's it! Today a coworker at the office was miserable. He was sneezing, eyes were watering, and looked so miserable that another coworker asked if he had pink eye. I asked him first if he wanted a typical allergy pill. He said yes. Took it. Around 2 hours later was still sneezing, coughing, eyes watering. I asked him to humor me and take 5 MSM. He said sure. He was miserable. Within 30 min he wasn't sneezing or eyes watering. He immediately started asking me what it was I gave him. So apparently guys, it isn't just me. If you are suffering like I was, give it a try. You might just find like I did that it is a miracle supplement! :)
