Oily finish! Tealwood! Looks amazing just wished it was a bit bigger!!!

Bamboo made from Thailand,I specifically bought it for the dimension which stated 35.6 x 35.6 x 3.2 inches in reality is 14x14x1.5 inches...very disappointed

Wonderfully breakable product - with service people who do NO service, dance through hoops ,then “Oh you bought through Amazon, go see them” i would give zero but you cant

Love the look! And it sits permanently on our counter. It came already seasoned but I still oiled it, but really didn't have too. I do after each use however. I'm very happy with it and would buy a bigger one next time. I bought another board (Wood for Chef) at the same time because my husband liked the groove in it. When it arrived, I put oil on it, and within minutes the board looked just as dry. It took me two weeks of oiling twice a day before it looked seasoned. I still haven't used it yet because I am still oiling it once a day, and will continue until it looks ready.

Reading the reviews for this, I'm quite sure I'm a unique case, but posting this just to make it known. When the chopping board first came, my impressions were how beautiful and weighty it was. Then a week after receiving it, I used it to slice some beef, washed it and dried it. The next day I saw this crack, and thought maybe it's fine? But just to be sure, I dripped a singlet droplet of water on it, and saw it absorbed into the crack quite quickly. Which means any meat or veg juice will seep in and cause bacteria to grow. That's quite dangerous... I tried to reach out, but for some reason Amazon didn't give me the option to contact seller directly, and only gave me an option to return the item, which I don't have the time to source a box, print the label and send it back while waiting for the refund. I'll just keep this and use it to display some items on top as a decor piece, but I'm really quite disappointed
