The best natural, non-toxic laudry liquid I have tried yet.
Main reason for getting this, is that I get migraines from the artificial scents used in name brand normal liquids. It's gross. Of all the non-toxic and unscented liquids I have tried, this one cleans the best and is a great value due to the high concentration.I do landscaping and yard maintenance. The only workers with clothes dirtier than mine at the end of a day are guys in diesel repair shops. This laundry liquid cleans incredibly well in a HE machine, even on clothes caked in dry mud and plant stains. If you live with people who waste huge amounts of laundry liquid by overdoing it on each load, you can buy one of these bottles of concentrate and another, larger bottle of other non-toxic stuff. Once that runs out, dilute this concentrate into the other bottle and hide the concentrate bottle and never tell anyone. I can refill 3 larger bottle of liquid by diluting in water from just one bottle of this concentrate. I no longer have to get angry about others in the house wasting money. Sometimes I would look at the bottle after someone did one load and it would be 1/5th of the way gone down in one washing. That's like 20 loads worth in one shot. While this laundry liquid does not have much of a smell, it does have a slight citrus scent that goes away after the washing and drying process.

Better than Tide!
I recently decided to replace all of my traditional cleaning products with green alternatives. Biokleen was rated very highly on the Environmental Working Group's list of the safest and most effective green laundry detergents, so I gave it a try. I was initially skeptical, having been a lifelong Tide user, but I'm happy to report that the Biokleen cleans not only as well, but even better than Tide!I was struck the first time I used Biokleen that my clothes felt different coming out of the wash; I think Tide left a patina of residue on them that I hadn't been aware of before. Normal food stains and scents lift out better with the Biokleen, too, and whereas Tide had a very pronounced odor that lingered for a long time, I find that the Biokleen citrus smell is light and refreshing out of the washer but then fades, leaving your clothes just smelling clean.Best of all, Biokleen is a crazy-good deal. It's highly concentrated (half a small cap per normal load), so this one bottle should last me over a year -- for only $10! That's an amazing deal.Bottom line: Biokleen is the real deal. It cleans well, smells great, is better for the environment, and costs less than traditional brands. If you're debating giving it a try, do it!

One cap full really works
Update, reorderMarch 24 and did not receive until April 15 that's a long time! Product is good though One full cap suds up well in a standard size top fill machine. The clothes come out clean and smell good like orange while wet but after they dry the clothes are free of any scents. Good value for the number of washes in the container and the size is easy to carry with laundry. I wish they would make a natural scented dryer sheet in the same orange scent.

Best for your buck with natural detergents.
I am used to using Purex, Ariel, arm and Hammer, and All. I decided I wanted to do better by using plant based products and things that are better able to break down faster for our environment. I saw this and it was the most affordable, and did not have a floral scent, and was safe for sensitive skin. It reminds me of orange peels when I smell it with a hint of grapefruit. When we first got it I put it directly into a sauce stain from canned ravioli and washed it the next day. It took it right out. I don’t feel like a film has been left on my clothes and it definitely suds up. It takes up a lot less space as well, and I feel better using less than I would with soaps that don’t break down as fast. Overall I will continue to buy this product as long as the price stays within reason. We are a family of three and expect this to last us for three months, compared to buying Purex for every other month spending $3 on a subscribe and save. It does cost a little more but goes a long way and is overall safer for the environment, I find it’s worth it to invest that into a better future for our kids. I also love the fact if you ingest it they would rather you just drink water and not induce vomiting. If you recall the tide pod challenge. If it’s not good safe for you it’s definitely not safe for the environment.

Works on HE machine, bottle lasts a long time
Challenges: gym clothes, concrete dust and construction grime, king size sheets n beddingResults: clothes are clean, stains gone, it works on urine, mustard, construction yuck, and even that funky mildew smell gets in wet clothesNotes: I use Spray n Wash on tough stuff, of course, and Downy fabric softener. Bleach my whites sometimes use blueing additive

The best for synthetics
The advances in synthetic fabric technology has not kept pace with detergents, which are still mostly formulated for natural fibers. Cotton for example is easy to wash since it is hydrophilic (soaks up water) and thus repels hydrophobic (oily) stains and odors, can be washed in hot water and bleached all of which kill odor forming bacteria. Odors cling to hydrophobic synthetic fabrics and are difficult to wash since synthetics do not tolerate high heat, softerners, or brighteners. I have tried the powdered synthetic cleaners that rely on high pH and enzymes to breakdown the oily, clinging odors to mixed results, often requiring lengthy pre-soaks. Biokleen contains lemon oil which is mostly limonene, a powerful organic solvent that can even dissolve paraffin wax. Without brighteners, softeners or other additives, and being highly concentrated (do not overuse in your HE washer) Biokleen is the best detergent for synthetic fabrics including automotive microfiber cleaning cloths. Very inexpensive considering the number of washes in each bottle. Gets out those clinging odors other detergents can''t. The limonene content adds its characteristic orange peel scent. Highly recommended.
