Yes its expensive but if you want a pump that will get the job done even if the oil is super cold. Pumps fast without stress. Pump motor is kind of noisy but doesnt bother me.I expect this pump to last a long time.

Quick, Easy, and it Works
We've been running some low viscosity pumps to recover used engine oil in our Diesel shop. They are delicate and need to be babied all day to drain the 4 30 gallon portable tanks.This pump only requires that we pay attention to when the tanks are empty and shut it down as we move the hose to a full tank. The drain time is less than 10 minutes and the pump is pretty cool to the touch after draining a 4 tanks.Our efficiency has improved, we are not constantly worried about the pump catching fire or burning out, and the mechanics aren't pushing the portable tank capacity to avoid using the transfer pump.

Works great and quiet
Works great used it to transfer oil through a 200’ pex pipe to a large oil storage, takes about 10 min to drain a 50 gallon container.
