Keto Cocktails: 75 Low-Carb Libations Paperback – December 8, 2020

This is one of the most delightful and high-quality party books I have ever seen! The chapter heading photos are very impressive, and the recipes are just about the best low-carb and Keto-friendly party fare one could hope for. While some recipes take a bit of time, and/or call for a special ingredient or so, quite a few can be created from any decently-stocked party pantry, and are make-ahead—AND all look delicious! I can hardly wait for Covid-19 to depart so I can throw a Celebration Happy Hour.for my friends. Meantime, I’m going to practice on my resident family members: 2 adult daughters, 1 son-in- law and 2 adult grandchildren who fled home at the beginning of the plague and will love the festive touch this charming book will bring to our family get-togethers at the end of a busy day of working at home.

I’ve loved following Ketogasm for inspiration on my keto journey, and now a cocktail book? We’ve all been trying to be healthy while in lockdown - but let’s be honest, if there was ever a time where our trips to the booze aisle have been a little more frequent it’s 2020 (amiright?). I was so stoked to get my copy and start my life as an amateur, work from home, mixologist. Tasha made the cocktail and appetizer recipes so easy to follow, even I could do it (and that’s saying something). My latest combo was the lemon drop and salami and cheese pinwheels. The mixture of sweet, tart, creamy and salty is exactly what I was craving! Can’t wait to work through this book while still watching my carb and sugar intake. I’ve bought 3 copies as stocking stuffers for my other keto (and non) friends. Highly recommended!

I'd love to give this a 5 star but it's lacking. It's a nice mix of different drinks as well as some appetizers that are keto friendly but I'm a visual person and wish this book to be a bit thicker but have more pictures in it.

I enjoy unwinding every now and then and now I don't have to worry about sugar the drinks are delicious

YOU GUYS.When I made the decision to follow keto, I knew there were some things I would have to give up. I sure didn’t think I’d be getting drunk off gummy bears anymore. That is, until Tasha Metcalf swooped in and saved the day with her Keto Cocktails book.Obviously I love the gummy bears. But that’s not the only great recipe found in this book! There seems to be a fair mixture of classic recipes and new creations. The Bee’s Knees?! I don’t know what you are, but I LOVE YOU.

Love this book!! This is an essential for anyone who would kill for a good cocktail and is keto dieting or cutting out sugar. I’ve been missing flavor in my drinks since starting low carb dieting and this book is bringing the taste and enjoyment back that I’ve been craving for months now, without busting my diet. Well written and easy to follow...great tips and advise. Spend the money...it’s well worth it!!

Most of the cocktail recipes are just " Gin and tonic - but use diet tonic", "moscow mule - but use diet ginger beer", etc. I was hoping for some unique, fun cocktail recipes, not an Old Fashoned with low-carb simple syrup. That's the kind of obvious stuff I can think up on my own. There are some good liqueur substitute recipes and the food recipes look pretty good so that's worth holding on to the book. But, honestly, I wouldnt recommend this to someone looking for fun or unique keto cocktails to try out.
