Not what I expected

I liked the concept of this haunted book stack. But it arrived with damage (finish worn off) to the front of the books. I decided to live with it and call the books old and worn in some places. But when I turned it on it’s very loud and runs for quite awhile before shutting back off. If I’d known how loud it is I wouldn’t have purchased.
