Hi there, No worries, USB drives cannot be harmed or altered by magnetic fields. The drives are not built from magnetic materials. So magnets pose no danger to any USB drives.

It's small enough where I can't examine anyone complaining that it's too big. I use mine to carry my dog whistle on my treat bag. Love this product.

It’s a magnet. Powerful enough, but not too powerful. I holds like three pounds. Love it! FWI it’s tiny. In a good way.

Q: How strong are the magnetics? Will it we are out in time? Will it come apart it you have heavy things on the chain?

They are permanent magnets that generally don’t lose their magnetic properties unless subjected to high heat and they are about 3 pounds of attractive force for the two together or about 2 pounds each for the halves connected to a ferrous magnetic material such as steel or iron.
