I do wish it were a bit sharper but it does work and considering in my state you can't get caught with anything like a blade, this is the best option. I need a boxcutter tool for work that I can keep in my pocket and this has worked to keep me from being accused of carrying a weapon and still works as a boxcutter.

These package and letter opener keys are great value for the money. I use them frequently and find them to have amazing functionality and utility. The design is amazing and the subdued black color goes perfectly with the solid black theme of the majority of my sets of keys. I highly recommend these to people who receive and open packages regularly as they are definitely a great value for the money!

I like it. It’s pretty good opening things unfortunately for me it’s a little too small so I kind of drop it. Otherwise, it’s a good product.

The challenge with creating a gadget like this is balancing both safety and utility. I carry my keys in my pocket, so the concern is that something attached to the key ring that’s meant for cutting will cut my leg at some point. This little, plastic, key-shaped blade is meant to be a convenient cutter that folds into the keysmart handle with your other keys. But when I tried to actually use it after installing on the key ring, the blade had trouble cutting through simple packing tape on the box. It was bad at doing it’s ONLY job. I’m returning this and sticking with just using one of my real brass keys for the occasional box when I don’t have scissors or a box cutter handy. This cutter is unnecessary and ineffective.

Got as a gift for a family member that travels a lot for business and has two small children. He can keep on his keychain for easy access whenever he needs to open a package. But there is no danger of the kids hurting themselves or losing it to airport security checks. Great idea. It seems to be very sturdy. I didn't rate it on durability because we just got it, and haven't had time to see how it will last (although I don't foresee any problems). I was torn about "Value for the money". I paid about $9, which can seem like a lot for a small, simple item. On the other hand, it's only $9. I think if I got them for everyone in the family it would add up quickly, but for the right person it's perfect.

Bro this thing is useless I don’t write reviews but I had to let people know to buy literally anything else. It won’t even cut a peace of tape I bought it to open boxes but nope

I stock cards at supermarkets. I don't want a knife or anything I might accidentally leave in a box. This works great. I have it on my keys and can put them in my pocket after I open the box. It does not cut skin, but it does cut the tape or box, sometimes it takes a couple times to go through. It works great for the few boxes I need to open. I don't think I'd like it for a regular stocking job where you need to open multiple boxes. It is a safe alternative to a box cutter.

This was not strong and broke after a month

It’s good for what I paid and what’s it made for but the blade got a little big jagged after just a few boxes but after that no other “damage” on it.
