See title , packaging was good, use is for honeing palm carving tools , quality of stone and angles are good does not initially,dry ,seem like 1000 grit but may be suitable to dress a damaged edge.

works with most of my carving tools, but not perfect fit to the various angles. You have to pick and choose. But works very well with flat blades due to the curved leather on one side and flat leather bed on the other side. Not perfect but good for the price.

I haven’t used the sharpening stone as yet. However, it looks well made and will accommodate most woodworking tools. Really, it’s better than I expected.

I have some gouges that I use with my wood lathe. I was hoping the rounded profile on the stone would work to sharpen the larger tools. This is not the tool I was hoping for. This is a woodcarvers sharpening stone.

Great sharpening stone. Really good for gouges, small to large. Be sure to soak for at least 5 Mins. Would buy again. But don’t think I have to. Very high quality.

Très pratique pour aiguiser mes gouges à graver le lino. Bien emballée, cette pierre fragile est arrivée en bon état. Pas de casse.
