This was double duty for me. I was struggling with rainout and my cat decided to chomp down on my tubing after 2 days. Once I added the cover, I stopped having humidity issues and my cat leaves the tubing alone. It also quiets any rubbing against my nightstand. The cover easily zips on and off for cleaning.

Anyone who uses a CPAP device knows the horrible popping sound that wakes you up, when moisture accumulates in tubing. I am told this happens when there is a noticeable difference in the temperature of the air coming from the device and the air temperature of the room. I tried wrapping the tubing with a towel, but that makes it too bulky and heavy. I ordered this because it is lighter weight. The zipper running the length of the cover makes for easy removal and putting it back on. There are elastic bands with Velcro on each end to secure the cover tightly to prevent slipping up and bunchingdown the tubing. These work relatively well. There is some slipping and bunching. Overall, it does what it is intended to do. I gave 4 stars because of the slipping and the fact that it only comes in black. Some other colors and maybe prints would be nice. It is lightweight and doesn’t weigh the tubing or pull like when I had the towel. I have not tried to wash it yet so I have no idea how it will hold up to that. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase.

Holy cow! Rain pour out gone! My boyfriend started with a CPAP and we keep the apartment at 60 degrees- so we had 2-4 episodes of pour out throughout the night. Last night was our first time using this to wrap the hose and 0 pour out episodes!!!

I have cats who kept biting my cord. This kept them from doing that. I love this!

While it may assist in maintaining air temperature in the hose, it also acts as a deterrent to a curious cat and helps minimize UV degradation. As I have a second hose in my CPAP travel bag, I bought two covers.

This is specifically described as fitting the longer hose for Resmed but it is 2 inches too short even when stretched tightly and the fleece is the thinnest they could find. It offered no more insulation than the old blue nylon style I already had and in fact it is so thin I was able to ZIP IT UNDERNEATH AND INSIDE OF MY OLD HOSE COVER! I only got the insulation upgrade I wanted by using the two covers together. Would have returned it if it did not fit under my older cover. Not recommended.
