Great single motorbike replacement
Added this to my SV650 to replace the OEM bulb, and what a difference. A brilliant pure white, no strange patterns like some bulbs, fits perfectly into the tight stock housing too. Hopefull it lasts a long time, but seriously happy with this bulb for my own vision safety and the brightness for others to see me too.

Great bulb performs really well
I was a little jubious going into this. Wife's headlight on her 1999 ninja was really dim I was happy to move to LED but was worried about the beam pattern. As it turns out, great pattern, bright and good throw with a clean cut off. Great for the price and would recommend to others looking for a simple straight swap. I have since bought led 501 bulb for the position light and they work well together.

Nice size, but not really bright enough (Triumph Scrambler)
If your priority is an LED bulb that definitely fits wherever a halogen bulb fits, it's hard to find fault in that respect. It's small & seems well made. But, it's really just not bright enough for my application. It's "ok" on low beam on the streets, but main beam is just isn't good enough, to the point where I'd call it dangerous to use on unlit roads, at least on my bike.

Absolutely brilliant
I used this in my motorcycle as a direct replacement for an upgrade H4 bulb I had previously fitted. Its a straight replacement. No beam distortion but a much brighter and cleaner white light. Quite how some had issues with brightness I cannot fathom but would tend to blame the installer not the bulb itself. This gives all the brightness and reach of a modern LED headlight but fits the OEM shell and wiring. The cheap ones may be an issue. This one is no issue at all

Let there be light!
Well got this as the halogen bulb was poor. Took less than 10mins to fit, no ballast resister to find a home for. Reassembling the head light unit back into the bike took an hour! Good spread of light but not tried it in the dark yet!

This is not necessarily a drop in replacement for an H4 halogen 60/55 watt auto bulb.
I liked the idea it would be an easy drop in replacement of a standard H4 60/55 watt halogen bulb. My experience is that it is not a drop in replacement for a Philips H4 12342 halogen, about as standard as you can get. The radius of the LED's base was fractionally too large to go into it's designated headlight unit opening. When that problem was addressed, the complete insertion was interrupted by a small metal tag projecting from and into the headlight unit at the 12 o'clock position where the above mentioned over tight LED base was meant to seat. The 12 o'clock position is where the large "shoulder" of the LED goes. The tag and the shoulder interfere and prevent drop in insertion. The dipped beam is much more illuminating than the main beam of the halogen it replaced ... excellent. The main beam illuminated even more ... amazing. But sadly not better. Indeed in 50 years of motorcycling I was chastised by a Motor Cycle Police Officer for the first time ... due to dazzle. Be warned. It could be that directionality and focus is degraded by suboptimal seating. Whatever, be prepared for a real hassle, at least if you try to fit this to an old Suzuki GSX 600F that is designed to run with a standard H4 bulb dropped in. I am disappointed and will be asking for a refund.

Better for newer headlights
Works great I use it on a mk1 bandit, it's not really designed for the glass type headlights on those old bikes but it is easier to be seen. Can't really comment on night riding as it's summer and I'm home before it's dark. My mate runs one on a replica mt10 headlight and it works great at night on that

Attaching the bulb to the holder would have been good.
The bulb, once fitted, works really well. Nice and bright with a good peircing light. Massive down side was that the bulb wasn't attached to the holder. This means that once secured into the headlight, the bulb is still able to slide in and out. Thus altering the focus point of the light. Very annoying, especially if it's in the headlight when you push the connector on as the bulb will disappear into the unit and you have to take it apart to get it out again. Great performing light, once sorted, but I shouldn't have to secure or remake the bulb after purchase.

Baja fiabilidad y calidad. Solicitada devolución.
