DEWALT Dual Action Sander

Works,to,well some times..lol sanded a 63 Pontiac with this tool ..

Ive had several i.r. snap on , too many to list but this one puts them all to shame. Extremely efficient with air usage. Powerful. When and if i ever need another one im getting another one of these.

It works as it should, only down side was it was really dirty in the box it's was sent in (like sand). Fortunately the air port had a cap on it, so the sand/dirt didn't get inside of the tool.

This is a really good sander. The adhesive discs peel off easily and it gets outstanding revs. My only complaint is that the price is not competitive as you can get the exact same Dewalt sander at Home Depot or slight less $$.

I change the backing plate to hook and loop great to clay bar a car in less than 15 min compared to 45 min what a time saver great product dewalt does it again 5 star performance

I used this air sander for lots of work outside the house. I sanded an old wood gate, part of a wood fence and made some old wood planks look like new again for miscellaneous projects with an 80grit 3M sandpaper. I am impressed by how easy this tool makes any given work, it doesn’t bug down or ask for a break; it keeps going! I only found the tool on the heavy side when sanding stuff above my head. Otherwise, i could use all day and be happy with it. 4 drops of Lucas air tool oil before any job will make a long way. A big 60 gallons air compressor is more then recommended. This sander is hungry for air. Make sure to use quality sandpaper and enioy the immediate results. I hope this help another fellow out there. *ONE IMPORTANT FEATURE; Less noisy then all electric models i have used if you can have your air compressor far enough from your working area. (Mine inside my garage, Me working outside the garage on a summer day) *On the picture; some 10 years old planks who were slowly rotting outside my house. 80 grit paper followed by 180 brought them back to pristine condition for a project. Wood is expensive, why not re-use old planks when given the opportunity?
