LEATHERMAN, Crater C33TX Lightweight Folding Knife with Bottle Opener, Black

Once again, this is a great and most wonderful product from Leatherman!! The knife is great and very sharp, with a serrated edge on its end, and the locking blade with a liner lock is awesome. The blade is easily deployed with a single hand. The grip feels great and comfortable to handle, and the side profile of the knife is thin, despite the features it provides. I love both the flathead and Philips screwdrivers- they click into position and are very sturdy to grip and use comfortably. The carabiner's dual purpose as being a bottle opener is alos a great wonderful surprise to its functionality- it definitely works very well! Everything about this knife is so well built, robust and sturdy- from the fixings they use, to the finishes of the tools (knife blade, screwdrivers, carabiner) and the glass-filled nylon grip, which cannot be easily scratched. For those who want a robust knife with a locking blade and has the practicality of basic tools, I cannot give a better recommendation than this. This is a must have knife for outdoor enthusiasts and for everyday use.

I must admit, I have spent a LOT of money on knives in my younger years, I was stuck on Benchmade for quite a while especially. However, as I have grow older and my priorities changed (Hint.. KIDS). I am no longer going to spend 150 dollars on a knife that I will probably lose anyway. This Leatherman Knife is perfect. Less then 40 bucks.. has a bottle opener, which is used more then anything for..uh... beverages, has a combo blade and two screwdrivers. This is one of those knives I ALWAYS have on me nowadays. The screwdrivers are tough and the right size for most jobs around the house. It isn't too thick at all, which was my original fear when first buying. The absolute best thing about this knife is the Blade opener assist mechanism. Once you use it you will never go back to another blade assist system. Leatherman really got it right on this one. For the regular ol 'Dad' out there, who isn't trying to be a tactical Rambo type, this is the best Every Day Carry knife you can own in my opinion. Especially if you do NOT want to lug a full size Leatherman around on your belt or pocket.

This is a very good knife, which also has some bonuses of a screwdrivers and bottle opener. If you normally carry a folding knife and want more then this is your knife. Same thickness of a folder but yet still had other uses. Both screwdrivers work well and do what they are supposed. That doesn't include the complaints I read because they don't have much prying strength. It's not supposed to its supposed to take out screws and such. Both screwdrivers can work at different angles so you can get it in places regular screwdrivers can't. The carabiner works well and will also double as a bottle opener. Overall great streamlined multi use tool. No it's not as versatile as a multi tool because its not as bulky, its made to go in your pocket and be used everyday. Good answer to a Swiss Army knife that is to bulky and has too many cheaply built small tools to be functional.

I own several of these knives. I LOVE Leatherman products. This design is one of my favorite pocket knives of all time. It is light, it comes sharp and it is handy. The blade deploys quickly and the handle feels good in the hand. I don't use expensive pocket knives to open boxes, cut paper, or open bottles. This this thing gets the majority of the work for the stuff I do around the office. I actually bought this one to give to someone else. When I am not carrying around a multitool or a Swiss army knife, this thing gets the job done for me.

The knife has some break-in needed on all of the pivot mechanisms for the tools and the blade itself. Once these break in it is very easy to access all parts of the knife. Have not used the bottle opener yet. Everything else works well. Blade is sharp. Tools are durable. Good sized knife. Good build. Worth the price. Would recommend the stainless steel over the black. I got the black, it looks cool but if you put the knife to work, the black comes off all of the tools/blade eventually.

My favorite pocket knife I have read everything about pocket knives I don't hunt and need to skin an animal. I live in the city and occasionally I have to cut boxes and packages open, fix a loose screw and simple stuff. For self defense its an intimidating knife as well This knife does it all Yes stiff at first A drop of oil and some working it will loosen it top beautifully No need to spend BIG money on a bench made, spiderco, and other name brands. They are excellent knives as well I also carry a Kershaw which I love but that serves a different purpose. But they can fall out of your pocket as well. Do you really want to lose a $100 plus knife But for an EDC simple knife you can't beat the price Again its a Leatherman PS I lost my first crater recently (fell out of pocket somehow) I was upset but at this price I just ordered another one.
