OOFOS OOahh Recovery Slide, Black - Women’s Size 9, Men’s Size 7

Love love love my OOFOS. They are the perfect shoe to slip on and great support. Spend the extra money to get the ones with the Velcro on top. This allows you to wear with or without socks and keep tight on your feet! I wear them all over the house and they are really comfortable and the quality has been great!

This is the second pair of Oofos recovery slides I have bought, and I also own two pairs of Oofos shoes. I have plantar fasciitis and my podiatrist recommended the Oofos sandals to me because of that. My feet are too sensitvie to handle toe thongs well, so I went with the slides instead of the sandals. For the most part, I find them comfortable. The sole cushions my feet well, and the heel is the perfect height for me. I did find the sizing a bit challenging. I am a woman and wear size 10.5 in sneakers, and the company suggests sizing up. I got a size 10 for my first pair nevertheless and still, the slide was much too long and a bit too wide for my fairly wide feet. With my second pair, I sized further down to 9. When I sized down all the way to size 9, I found the slides to be slightly tight on the sides but just right in length. Since I knew from experience that the slides expand some after you wear them, I kept them and have not regretted it. I have a allergy to carba mix, a substance that can be found in rubber as well as other things. This is most probably the reason my foot gets itchy and pink under the strap. It is possible, though, that the problem is athlete's foot instead. I don't think so, but I'm putting that information out there in case it is. The best things about these slides is that they are far more comfortable for me than anything else I can wear around the house. I have tried other solutions, including cork soles, with no luck. Short of wearing shoes with custom-made orthotics, this is the best solution I have found. And I like that I can easily kick them off and slide my feet into them.

I've only had these shoes for days and already feel the need to leave a review. SIZE: I'm usually a size 8. Based on other reviews, I ordered a size 9 and its the right fit. I usually wear size 7.5 in dress shoes, 8.5 in boots and athletic wear, and size 8 on average otherwise. A size 8 in these shoes would have been too small, and a size 10 might be very comfortable still, especially with THICK socks on. I would recommend finding a shoe store to try them on in person, or anticipate returning a pair if you're unsure - you definitely want these shoes to fit you properly, or the whole point of them is moot. These shoes fit great with and without socks. The first few times I slipped them on with wool socks, I had to adjust my socks after to get them comfortable again. I wore these slides for ~2 hours the first day, and enjoyed the way the felt so much that I kinda wanted to wear them to bed. I'm in my 30's and suddenly began experiences multiple ortho issues this year with my feet, including plantar facitis. These are great and very supportive for my high arches. They are very durable and stable, and have a thick sole that gives me the impression they will last a while. They do not seem slippery in any way. My favorite part is the band on the top - its very stretchy and comfortable.

These are great for around the house but please SIZE UP I did not listen and regret it

They seemed a little small on me.

At first, these felt a little awkward. I have a bunion and the band was snug, but not painful, just tighter than I’m used to. I also usually wear shoes with a high heel to toe drop, so having that 6mm drop feel made my heel rock back and I felt a stretch in my calves. The support is definitely centered on the arch, like my midfoot is being cradled, which was new for me. I normally wear a 9.5 in women’s, but got a 9 and they fit well. Since my podiatrist recommended them for my flat feet, I stuck with it. After a few days of wearing them around the house, I adjusted and now they actually feel comfortable. Funny enough, when I switched back to my Adidas sneakers, the regular heel to toe drop felt strange. Overall, I’d recommend these, but be prepared for a short adjustment period if you’re used to more higher heel drop shoes.

Where to start…. I’m a huge oofas fan. These were a bit odd- but I kept them. Still wear them. They are comfortable. Oofa cushiony. Check! They fit? Maybe a little big but I can’t tell? Again, I kept them, I wear them- so? They aren’t check out my cool shoes cute. But then they’re oofas. We knew this. Then it gets weird. I don’t even want to mention this because how is it possible it’s the shoe’s fault? Idk, but something is up. I only wear slides or flops indoors period. I’ve had the oofa flip flops previously. (Dog broke it) for some bizarre reason 2 things happen in these slides that do not occur with any other slide/flops: 1) sweaty feet 2) dirty/sticky I mean I’ve actually (wait for it) become one of THOSE people putting socks on (gasp) with these slides! NOW THAT IS COMFORTABLE- totally get why this is a thing. Don’t worry, haven’t left the house like that… yet. Building up to it, ha! But what’s up with this? So, you think the floors are dirty, huh? Duh! But still it’s not happening with my other shoes. So it get annoying enough, I was my feet, put on my other flip flops continue on- no sweat, no problem. Think: no, I really want my oofas. Put them back on think YES SO COMFY- 20 mins later sweaty feet and then sticky feet… then rewash feet and repeat. Yeah, sometimes I wash the floors too. It matters not. We have big huge dogs and bigger kids. Any ideas on why this happens? Doesn’t happen in other slides. Not other flip flops. It never happened in my oofa flip flops. Just these slides. So, I’m now wearing socks and slides and it’s almost summer.

Very comfy! I wasn’t sure about the price but they are a huge upgrade from my Tesco basic ones. Bought them to wear at home. Very supported and rocker sole. Time will tell on durability. Feet feel very supported and it’s easy to walk.

Since developing plantar fasciitis i had encountered a lot of difficultly finding a shoe that would help support my foot and help me gain mobility. While these shoes aren't that visually aesthic they have been a God send. I have little to no pain thanks to these shoes. They are light weight incredibly comfortable good quality and great support.
