Beard Grooming Kit for Men

I teetered between 4 and 5 stars, and I can tell you that you got the top score for one item that was not included in the box. I LOVE the packaging--even the lid closes because it has a small magnet embedded in its cardboard box. The sack containing the brush and comb was nice and sturdy and made an immediate (favorable) impression on me. I LOVE that you shipped it all in one container, not separately. It keeps the glass bottle from potentially breaking, which is what happened to me when I ordered another product which had been shipped loosely in a padded envelope. Kudos to you guys! I don't really have a use for the comb yet because my beard is not long enough yet to switch over from the brush. I wish the comb had 2 sizes as some of the competing products on the market offer. The beard oil seems quite nice. It leaves my beard super shiny, so I need to remember not to use too much of it. I cannot give you a decent review because I have only used the product for less than a week. So far I am impressed. The item that put me over the top on this review is the e-book about beards and the product(s) you sent to me even before I receive the actual package in the mail. I have previously ordered other products (from competing brands), and none offered an explanation of what the products and how to apply them--yours does! For a brand-new beard-grower who has no peers to ask about growing a beard and what products they use, this is an absolute must! This brings me to my one (ever so slight) criticism--the brush. I have coarse beard hair and prefer studier bristles. This brush's bristles are soft by comparison to other products. The brush itself is well-made, but I just want some tougher bristles. Think about offering both types of brushes in the future--customers could choose which brush they want. This would be a no-brainer, and you'd have me as a customer for life! I think you make a great product, and other shoppers would be wise to take very close look at this set, which is priced very well (around $27).

I really like and appreciate this beard oil. It has ZERO scent (which is great for those of you who prefer a non-scented oil, this also proves their advertising to be 100% true as well). The "oilyness" doesn't linger very long in my experience, maybe one to two hours after applying, which is another great feature. Also, when I apply the oil it really softens the hair up and allows me to contour it a bit. The brush is just wonderful, really allows you to get deep into the hair and allows you to get the oil to your skin (depending on the length of your beard), also taking into account the bristles on it are smooth for the horse-hair-like feel and texture it has. The comb is great, a really smooth and attractive material as well as texture and feel in the hand. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a great beard-grooming kit, this is my first kit and I'm highly satisfied with it! PS it also comes in a really cool bag\carrying bag too.

*The brush is easy to hold and feels sturdy., The brush's bristles are firm enough to actually brush your beard, but soft enough not to irritate your face. Before buying this kit, I'd exclusively used combs, but I've been converted to brushes now. *The oil is literally scentless and works as advertised. After about a week of use, my beard is noticeably softer and nicer looking. Looks like the bottle should last awhile too, which is a definite plus. *The comb is bamboo, so I don't have to deal with static caused by plastic combs shooting around my beard and face while I'm grooming. My only real complaint with the kit is that I wish the distance between the comb's teeth was a little tighter -- they're slightly too far apart for my preference. That said, it is still a good, solid comb. After about a week of use, I can say this is definitely a solid product, highly recommended.

***2yr update*** So it's been about 2yrs since I purchased this product. The oil which i thought was good, was blah compared to what I use now. What I wanted to update was the beard comb. I have used the ever lasting crap out of this comb. I carried it everywhere with me, basically 24/7. Great comb because of how thin apart it is, really got my beard combed out well. I hate to say, unforutnately after all the abuse and use I put it through it snapped in half. Solid comb for sure. Great product, the oil has no smell which is great. Easy to apply, the dropper works great (I say this because another companies didn't). The brush stays with me at work so I can brush it out during the day. My beard is just getting long enough to start using the comb which I like as well.

The item arrived before estimated delivery date and it looks great, I haven't used it yet, it's going to be a gift. **I am adding some more to this review as my original did not include a review after I used the oil, brush and comb. I have been using the oil every morning for 4 days and have noticed a softer beard, the comb works great on getting out knots and taming the hair a bit. The brush is great but does seem a bit soft, I thought the bristles would be more course but it does work and you can 'style' your beard with it, the bristles just don't seem to get down to the skin

I bought this for myself as I needed a small brush like the one that comes in the set. I noticed that with this one I got the brush plus a bunch of other items for about the same price or less than similar brushes being sold by themselves. I have also in the past bought beard oil by itself for about this price so this is an awesome deal. It comes nicely packaged in a nice box, lots of nice items (brush, comb, balm, oil, bag). This would make a great gift for a college graduation, Father's Day, etc. If you purchased all of these items separately, you would most likely end up paying triple the cost of this set so this is a super value.

I love the oil. It's very good and really makes the beard look and feel great! The comb I am not fond of. A little big in the comb teeth department for my smaller beard. Would probably work well if you had a lumberjack thing going on, though? The brush was great for about a month, but the oil build up, I'm guessing, made the "real boar hair" smell funky. Even after a good shampoo and washing. Had to toss.

I got this as a gift for my husband and he LOVES it! He thinks the oil is very nice! There's no scent to it and it leaves his beard very shinny and healthy looking! He loves how the brushes actually helps him sculpt his beard - especially the side that has a mind of its own. He particularly loves the comb the most because he can "feel his skin" under his beard when he brushes which none of his other brushes/combs have been able to do! He loves this gift so much that he wants to gift it to his beard loving friends and family! All of them. So yeah, he loved this stuff and I love it because he loved it! Wifey win!
