Worked Well
MinWax has good products. This worked very well for my project. I'm painting the top of a cherry accent table. The finish is dark and also has some serious human created finish flaws. The color paint is much lighter than the dark cherry. This product was easy to apply and I used it on the flat surface as well as knicks the edge of the table. After the application I sanded those areas until smooth. So far the paint is covering the wood putty areas.

Does What its Supposed To!
Works very well- matched my cherry flooring. Used to fill pretty good gap on several boards. Not as good on chips but great for a crack filler. Dried quickly and easy to put stain or a clear finish on it.

Easy to fill
This product is great. It’s affordable. Thank you Minwax for selling this product for just under $7 dollars. Its color is perfect match. I installed Cherry strips to decorate the closet. Sanding in 1 hour.

Pleasantly surprised. Works well for minor gaps.
I used this to fill hairline gaps in rabbit joints on a cherry hope chest. Usually I use the woodglue and sand technique, but this is better. It is easy to use as directed. The excess wipes off or you can sand it if needed. The color was a pretty good match for unfinished cherry.

Shrinks.
This product is okay. It is easy to apply, and the cherry putty was a perfect match to natural cherry. I am a cabinet maker and have been making cabinets for over 30 years. The problem with this putty is it shrinks after it dries. I filled nail holes using this product, 90% of them had to be refilled after the putty dried and was sanded. The second application did yield a near perfect cosmetic fix. I have other wood fillers that work considerably better than this.
