Gardner's Art through the Ages: The Western Perspective, Volume I

Average textbook. Very happy I was able to get it so much cheaper through here

The book was in an excellent shape, and reasonable price. I used the rent option which saved my ton of money.

This book was fantastic. It was remarkably cheaper than the college course I paid for that required it AND it provided far more material than the actual course did. It was an easy read (I am an art history major however) and I would genuinely consider purchasing it because it contains some marginalized content in the art history community.

Exactly what I need for class. It was cheaper here on Amazon than everywhere I looked.

The book was helpful. No pages missing and all context was accounted for. It did have a stell cigarette odor when i first received it but other than that the book was fine.

I needed this textbook for class and as I got near the back of the book, I noticed that after page 428, the book jumps straight to 445- 460, then 429-444, and finally 461-end. I bought this book new and I’m extremely disappointed because it was a bit costly. I feel like this shouldn’t have been an issue for the price I paid. There are also ink stains from when it was printed on random pages that I know I didn’t cause. I’m still going to use the book, it appears to be complete and I couldn’t find any other sections out of order (as of yet). I would have refunded the order but I already started to write in it so I guess it’ll just have to work. Overall I’m rating this product a three because other than the issues noted, it came in decent condition and in a timely manner.

This book was required for my Survey of Art History class. I did enjoy the reading though. It was an easy read given the fact that it was in textbook form. The author does an excellent of keeping you interested throughout each chapter.

Really needed this text book for my summer class. Was exactly as I needed and used it through my entire summer course.
