None of the metal on this product is weather proof. Padlock rusted and got stuck, used some WD40 on it and that didn't work, but did slightly loose the key barrel and then the key broke off inside the lock. Had to use a dremel to get the lock off, took me 2 minutes to get through the locking bar, so the metal is also extremely weak. And then I went to take the alarm off and that was rusted too, had to take my front wheel off and then take the brake disc off so that a friend could accurately use a ban saw to cut through the alarm pin without damaging the brake disc.

Was a bit dubious on padlock after reading some reviews but it works well and the chain is reasonably heavy duty. Disc lock works as should, loud which is good as deterrent. Overall great purchase, and well worth the money.

Product ok alarm disc lock works well no issue so far not annoying the neighbours with false alarms but am not in an area of vibration (under ground rail or tremors, road and construction sites) been using for about a month Only issue I have is the padlock starting to rust and needs constant lube that comes with the chain

La chaîne semble très résistante! L'alarme pour le disque de frein est super, le son est relativement fort, l'alarme est sensible et se déclenche rapidement en cas de mouvement, j'adore !
